Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has hit back at Rush Limbaugh, saying the talk show host has been “very wrong,” in his criticism of him.

In an interview for the New York Times Magazine, the 2008 presidential candidate was asked if he was “going after” Limbaugh by launching a competing syndicated talk show.

Huckabee responded, “He’s been very critical of me and very wrong. It’s one thing to have an opinion, but the opinion needs to be based on fact.

I don’t recall Rush being particularly critical of Huckabee. I think maybe NewsMax is just making stuff up again.

I doubt Limbaugh will even notice.

Huckabee is far from being the worst politician I’ve ever come across but he’s also far from being the best.If forced to choose Huckabee vs Rush I’ll chose Rush every time.

Huckabee pardoned a convicted felon out of 'Christian compassion' who later killed two police officers.

He is typical of effeminate, modern 'Christianity'

“There is almost a hyperorthodoxy that is gripping the party that you have to go out and prove that you can be tougher, meaner, more hard-line than anybody else on the stage."

Yes, Huck, of course, which is why the squishiest centrist on the stage is now the presumptive nominee. Idiot.

Yeah Huckabee your “Aw Shucks Schtick” is so old.

Can’t imagine your show lasting all that long.

You are actually so boring blind people would find more entertainment watching paint dry.

It won’t last much longer. This is the death grip from the grave on his show. Maybe, just maybe, Rush will mention me...

sigh.

Huckabee said he supports Romney while not a official endorsement its about as close as you can get to one..Most media outlets ran with it as a endorsement..
But hey know such a thing as bad publicity, producers might be looking at the low ratings and want some publicity.

Huckleberry’s drawing a .1 in Houston and a .2 in Seattle, and 0.0 in Hartford.

Rush is outdrawing him everywhere by 150% to 3500%.

It’s ridiculous to even compare them. They aren’t competitors. It’s like saying if Huckabee pedals his fat-ass comfort bike alongside Lance Armstrong, he’s an Armstrong “competitor.”

Who on earth likes this Rino? Who on earth thought he could be successful on radio?

A 0.0 rating! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

The one thing Rush never does is whine.

The one thing Huckleberry always does is whine.

Mike Huckabee has his good points but he is a squishy 'conservative' that sees calling out Obama and the left as somehow being 'mean', etc. That tells us a lot about how dedicated to constitutional government Huckabee is.

I don't recall Rush Limbaugh saying much about Mike Huckabee on his show and I seriously doubt that Rush is going to give Huckabee's new radio talk show more than a moments notice, if that. Huck will get a year or so on the air then when ratings sag and sponsors are hard to come by, he'll quietly give it up and claim he couldn't devote enough time to the show to do it's listeners justice or some such self-serving excuse.

However, apparently there is a wide audience for conservative talk radio, which is encouraging, so Huckabee may pull this off - but I wouldn't bet on it. Rush Limbaugh owns conservative talk radio on the national level and I doubt the emergence of Mike Huckabee is going to change that.
