Brad Pitt's Mother Slams Obama, Gay Marriage

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Brad Pitt has long been an advocate for gay rights (initially vowing to hold off on marrying longtime love Angelina Jolie until gay marriage became legal nationwide), but his mother, Jane Pitt, apparently takes a different stance on the issue.

In a letter penned for her local newspaper, Jane urged Christian voters not to be put off by candidate Mitt Romney’s Mormon faith, as he still maintains conservative views in line with Christian beliefs despite his differing religion — including his posture on gay marriage and abortion.

“I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon,” she wrote in the opinion piece for The Springfield News-Leader this week.

Jane added that “any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

While the letter may seem harsh to some, Brad has previously said his mother means no harm.

“She’s very, very loving — very open, genuine, and it’s hilarious because she always gets painted in the tabloids as a she-devil,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview back in January. “There’s not an ounce of malice in her.

“She wants everyone to be happy,” the actor noted.

Been at this 35 years Jim and I still have only 1 choice in this election.

I've been at it for 36 years. This will be the FIRST TIME I will decline a Republican on the ballot, and I have voted in every primary and every general since 1976. I also finally figured out the difference between "choices" and "outcomes." Hint: There's only going to be 1 outcome -- Romney or Obama. But YOU, Ben, just like me, have many choices as to how to cast your vote at the top of the ticket.

One of those choices has the best potential of helping conservatism and weakening liberalism. The thing is that in order to use it to do that, you must forfeit any say in whether Obama or Romney wins. That's the price of voting FOR a plurality. The price you are willing to pay to vote "against" Obama is voting FOR making liberalism stronger in both parties.

How long will it take you to recognize when you're fulfilling Einstein's Definition of Insanity? I'll be frank -- I didn't figure it out until after Arnold Schwarzenegger. I learned something valuable from him, and now I am applying what I've learned.

Eternal Vigilance was spot on when he pointed out a day or two ago with regard to Romney vs Obama: "Heads they win, tails we lose."

And you're taking that "bet."

I want Obama out.

At what price?

The price is too steep with Romney, so it's time to start considering other strategies.

Thank you Bro. I really don’t like having to be the heavy. I just worry about this mess we are in. Well, just another opportunity for God to teach us all a lesson and increase our faith. I keep forgeting it is a mistake to put faith in man not the Lord Jesus!

You bow to mortals ...

HAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahaahah ... heh ... hahaLOLOLOL! *wiping tears of laughter away fro eyes*

LOL! Well, that explains your general confusion. Since when is getting down on my knees before the Almighty to thank Him for a wonderful blessing, "bowing to mortals"?

No WONDER you're voting for Romney! You really are confused!

What a moronic thing to say.
However, I can beleive you have never been on your knees in prayer for someone.
I can also beleive you have never been on your knees in asking for forgiveness as well.

The maroon Ben Bolt actually thought that getting down on my knees and thanking God for Free Republican and Jim Robinson, was the same as "bowing to mortals."

Wow.

May we agree to disagree?..
I know your strategy and your devotion to your position..and you may safely assume that my determination to oust Obama will not change.

It's math. Not feelings. Math.

Or when an independent who voted for Obama in 2008, or who didn't vote at all in 2008, votes for a third party this year ... is he still "voting for Obama"?

Sorry, FRiend, I'll agree to disagree on opinions, but math aint' opinionating.

The Democrat big dogs all have a mad bomber on their staffs. Obama has BIll Ayers. The Algore had Brent Kimberlin, and he may well be on Obama's staff as well these days. BIll Clinton pardoned a garage band full of Puerto Rican bombers. Lurch had this guy left over from his Swift Boat days ~ he'll swear to anything for Lurch, and maybe do anything he wants.

What these bombers are for I don't know, but maybe for street cred in certain circles.

Then there's Arthur Bremmer. DOJ let him loose. Squeaky Fromme was also freed by DOJ. John HIncley is out, again courtesy of DOJ. Only one of the free range killers I can think of right off hand who is not out is Sirhan Sirhan.

So, who let all those folks loose? What was their intention?

Think about it, all the top dogs over on the Democrat side of the equation have close associations with mad bombers, and somebody else has been turning loose people who shot at non-Democrat candidates for president.

I really want to ask WHO the Democrats really are these days but it's pretty obvious they ARE a branch of organized crime of some kind. Else these friends of theirs would be too dangerous to be near.

It is conceivable that any candidate can be removed from the election by these people.

Sure, we can agree to disagree, and furthermore, I sympathize more than you know. I'm as scared of Obama as you are. But I remember John Wayne's definition of courage -- "being afraid but saddling up anyway."

Sure, I can agree to disagree. Just understand that my determination will remain the same to point out the cost of "ousting Obama" your way -- that a vote "against" Obama is a vote FOR making the Republican Party turn hard left with Romney.

FRiend, you must take responsiblity for what you're about to vote FOR.

There is such a thing as "buyer's remorse," and a pretty smart FReeper has predicted that if Romney wins, ABOers will have the worst case of buyer's remorse in American history.

Dear Finny..You may cease all worry and concern about my soul, future buyers remorse. That’s my responsibility.

I am not worried about the Republican Party..I love my country too much to enable 4 more years of this Obamanation.
Now, please..May we agree to disagree?
