House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is hinting that all those boos toward Mitt Romney on Wednesday at the NAACP convention may have been exactly what the former governor was counting on.
I think it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention, Pelosi said in an interview with Bloomberg TV on Wednesday. She did not elaborate further during the three-minute interview clip provided by Bloomberg.

What a sicko!
She’s a complete and total nut case. Watching her gives good reason for the condition our country is in.
Why didn’t they foil his plans?
This woman is batsh** crazy and needs to be hauled out of the House in a straitjacket.
They know it looks bad. Regardless of what Romney said, he was treated with disrespect. It makes the NAACP look small and petty.
If Obama had spoke to a Tea Party convention and was treated like Romney was, there would be non-stop condemnation of the Tea Party for weeks.
Ask Joe Wilson.
The National Right to Life Committee should invite Pelosi to speak at their next convention and see what happens.
Well, only because the NAALCP is small and petty.
Because when diabolical Republicans are invited to address groups such as this, they try to brainwash blacks to act against their own interests, therefore allowing legions of racist rednecks to get the upper hand in voting booths across the nation. The only antidote to this strategy is for blacks to vote RAT no matter what, whether or not it makes any sense for them. /s.
why do we as conservatives and republicans go there? this is bs i say screw it romney picked up no votes yesterday and do not campaign in ca or ny or il no
The Democrat narrative on the Romney speech was written before he was ever scheduled to appear. Per Democrats Romney showed to get credit with his racist supporters. Had he not appeared he would have been called a coward. No surprises here.
I listened to a good part of the Romney @ NAACP speech on the radio and , in my opinion, Romney received a WHOLE LOT more applause throughout the speech than he did boo’s when he mentioned 0bammacare.
“They” were cheering for most of the same things I was.
Not to mention they gave him a standing ovation at the end.
Well, I'd go there to remind them that it was the abolitionists (Republicans) that freed the slaves, gave them the right to vote, passed civil rights legislation.
It was democRATs that owned slaves, formed the KKK, and treated them miserably during the Bull Connor, George Wallace, Lester Maddox, Robert Byrd (all democRAT)bad-old-days. And that it is still RATs "keeping them down" to this very day.
romney picked up no votes yesterday
Yeah, I'll bet he did. Not in that room, but in the black upwardly mobile ranks.
The NAACP heads are just a bunch of RATagandist partisan hacks. Nothing less than Uncle Toms for the RATs.
The NAACP is irrelevant. To paraphrase the AG, what exactly have they done for "their people"?
This woman is batsh** crazy and needs to be hauled out of the House in a straitjacket.
I also believe, again from the spontaneity of the applause at key points in his speech, that he did pick up votes.
The rank and file members of the NAACP want the same things as everyone else.
A chance to make a decent living, live comfortably, raise their kids in a safe environemnt and to see them prosper and grow, and not have all of these know-it-all government people telling them what is best for them.
I suspect Pelosi is just trying to get revenge on Republicans because the House just repealed her healthcare takeover law yesterday by a wider margin than it was passed. And it did not take any backroom deals to repeal it!
New test for paranoid delusion: Write a paragraph attempting to explain Pelosi’s reasoning on this one.
