An open letter to African America:
In the late ’90s, the Internet belched forth a rumor that the Voting Rights Act was soon to expire and that black folks would lose the vote as a result. Though stupid and untrue, the rumor spread like a dust cloud till it was inescapable.
Flash forward to 2012. Now the threat is real. There is a sustained effort to suppress the black vote as we approach this pivotal election. And what is our response?
Silence.
Here is what is going on in that silence. In Washington, D.C., conservative Republicans are seeking to gut the Voting Rights Act. In Florida, they are, in effect, purging Democrats from the voting rolls. In Kansas, there is a law requiring a voter show proof of citizenship. And in 30 states, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures, there are Voter ID laws, either passed or under contemplation.
So where are we in all this? Silent, that’s where.
It is easy to rally in the face of a tragedy like Trayvon Martin. That was a visceral, emotional thing. Still, what happened to that child is only representative of systemic injustice. This is systemic injustice, and we should be just as exercised about it, if not more so.
And yet . . . Silence.
From the barber shops, silence.
From the beauty parlors, silence.
From the pulpits, silence.
In the face of a naked attempt to steal not just an election, but a right that was purchased for us at a cost of bones and blood, silence. It’s happening now, right under our noses.

These people need to be cut off from our tax dollars and maybe, just maybe, the will learn to provide for themselves. Then they might call themselves, "Americans".
Democrats can’t win elections without cheating.
1. Democrats stuff ballot boxes with phony ballots.
2. Democrats drive senile old people to the polling place and go into the voting booth to fill out the ballor for them.
3. Democrats enter false voter registrations and vote multiple times even at the same polling place.
4. Democrats try to keep whites from the polling place using violence.
5. Democrats register illegal aliens to vote, against federal and State laws.
And many more illegal voting acts. Democrats HATE when the laws help prevent those illegal acts.

It's starting to dawn on some of Holder's people that the entitlement/government-jobs pie is not growing, that Hispanics are demanding a bigger piece of the pie, and that if Hispanic power grows, then black power will shrink in importance.
What happens to blacks when their support becomes much less relevant?

When will just ONE of you sanctimonious, hypocritical Liberal Racists admit that the voter rolls are rampant with dead people, illegal immigrants, duplicate names and even animals? JUST ONCE.

The very Liberal Racists who whine about disenfranchising millions of the downtrodden, poor, illiterate and minorities are the very same ones who won’t admit anyone to one of “their” public appearances without an approved photo ID, support the trampling of our rights when traveling by air and pass all manner of laws and regulations REQUIRING the presentation of valid government issued ID for a variety of services.
Try to dispassionately and with just facts, NOT EMOTION, prove to us that any significant number of LEGITIMATE voters do not or cannot acquire a valid, government issued photo ID with no more effort than it takes to visit a polling booth or one’s doctor or one’s government check handout center.
Why don’t you Liberal Racists launch a “Let’s Get You a VALID ID” campaign for “all those unfortunates” instead of spending your millions on character assassination, fictional propaganda and busing in of “voters” from areas outside the boundaries of various elections?
ANSWER: Because that would chop the legs off your imaginary issue.

Imagine (gasp!!) being forced to show you’re a citizen and elible to vote. The horror!!! I mean can you imagine anyone over the age of 70 having a valid ID??? Why, it must be next to impossible to get one of these strange documents!! The next thing those rascally Republicans will demand is motorists stopped by traffic police show they have a drivers license. (smirk)
