Yup..he is smiling. Many SMI people with homicidal tendencies have grand delusional tendencies.
In short, he has gotten his recognition and is proud of what he did.
The Giffords shooter did the same.
There are reported, about 3 million SMI people on the streets with homicidal tendencies. They are often very intlligent, but easily swayed by the wrong crowd. With medication, they are as normal as any of us. Problem is, when they feel fine and without proper management by outside case workers, they often quit taking these meds and fall off the edge.
If you're a successful mass murderer, you didn't do that on your own. Somebody else did that for you.

Why is TMZ the first with the photo? Looks a lot like that guy in the youtube video that was posted earlier.
I suspect the police in California showed her a photograph of the shooter taken after he was in custody.
I was listening to a Father of one of the survivors being interviewed on KOA Radio. His daughter told him that one of the people in the theatre opened the exit door and blocked it from closing.
A couple of minutes later, the killer walked in through that door.
Sounds like an accomplice to me.

Where does that thread say that the guy singing in the OWS sympathy video is the same James Holmes? The end of the music video you linked to ask people to check out other James Willie Holmes music. If you look up the album, you can see that the singer is a black man.
More like "Young disaffected males". You hear about it when young white males do a mass shooting. When young black males do it, it's just another senseless shooting in the 'hood.
