You can’t learn from your mistakes when you constantly blame someone else for them, which is what we have here with this gal. Oh, and all the white knights that want to rush to defend her just reenforces that behavior. I don’t expect that this girl will learn anything from this as all those around her are doing what you guys are doing, no condemnation for her actions, just anger at the boys. Thanks to that she’ll go on to even greater depths of depravity rather than repenting and turning her life around.

I have know plenty of very nice, moral, conservative women form exceptionally good homes who have gotten drunk and passed out.......part of life and having fun...it's not just liberal and "loose" women this happens to(passing out drunk), trust me.

There was no defense of rape in that post, or any of my posts. However, in reading most posters here, I doubt that truth is nearly as important as appearances.

In at least some cases juveniles can be sentenced to being on the sexual predator list for life. I’m not sure what specific laws are in the different states and all. The instance I know of was in Colorado - the perpetrator was about 12 years old, and was sentenced to a lifetime of reporting to the registry. However, I don’t think the information is publicly available until the perpetrators themselves turn 18 years old.
Also, I don’t think these people would be on the sex offender list if their charges were cut down to misdemeanors, but I could be wrong about that.

You would be wrong on that, depending on the state people convicted of public urination are added to the sex offenders list because they exposed themselves while urinating (men only of coarse). These lists are horrible because they do not differentiate between those that you really do need to watch out for and someone that didn’t really do anything all that bad, like statutory rape which you see happen all the time with some 18 year old kid getting convicted of having sex with his 16 year old girl friend. Do you need to worry about him when he’s 35 and married? I don’t think so and don’t think someone like that should be on any sort of list. But we as a society have lost all sense of proportion as evidenced by this whole thread.

What if the person these three raped had been male? What if it was a young man who was passed out and these attackers had come along and sodomized him, taken pictures and passed them around. Still his fault? Should he be disowned because of it? Would you say that he would go on to even greater depths of depravity rather than turning his life around?

Man I get tired of all the people that have reading comprehension problems. First, they are not rapists, they were convicted of a misdemeanor sex crime and just from the article we have no real information on what they actually did to this poor unfortunate waif that just happened to be passed out in the presence of pure evil. What we do have is some gal on the war path tweeting inflammatory accusations of rape but given her total lack of character I’m not too inclined to put much stock in that. Suffice it to say the boys were punished for their bad deeds as they are now convicted sex offenders and I am not defending what they did.
Second you seem to believe that my call for her to take some responsibility for what happened as some sort of endorsement for men raping any woman they happen to see passed out on the side of the road. Where you get that from what I’ve posted I’m not sure but I think that you should look into the darkness of your own heart on that matter as your intentional distortion of what I said seems to have a darkness associated with it that reveals a character flaw that should be addressed.
Third, why is it that feminists always go to the “male rape” argument? I mean really what sort of sick homo erotic fantasy is it the drives you to make that kind of comparison? Male rape happens all the time in prison, in fact people on this board make jokes about “bubba” all the time. It happens, deal with it and move on.
People make bad choices all the time, some of them have bigger impacts on your life than others. This gal made a bad choice, but from what people write here you’d think she was an infant that had no real say in the matter. She did and what happened is partly her responsibility so get over it, that’s life.

I’m having a bit of cognitive dissonance here, by definition very nice, moral, conservative women do not act like drunken women of loose moral character. As someone once said, “by their fruit you shall know them” and that type of behavior just screams “bad fruit” if you know what I mean. I think you need to look closely at how you categorize behavior and the labels you attach to that behavior as it seems to not be working very well.
