DENVER (AP) -- A survivor of the deadly shootings at a Colorado movie theater says he has forgiven the alleged gunman.
Denver Rescue Mission employee Pierce O'Farrill was shot three times in the attack Friday at an Aurora theater showing the new Batman movie. He was released from the hospital Wednesday.

If I were in his shoes, I want to carve up the perp slowly, and inflict as much pain as possible.
And yes, I think the guy has been play acting since his arrest. As his acquaintances said he's not a nut case.

But his high school picture kept nagging. Then I saw his face at the hearing. And my heart just broke.
So perhaps there wasn't a shooting at all, if it's only an 'alleged' crime.

EXACTLY! Now how many more victims need to forgive him before the monster will be allowed into Heaven? (That is of course, if the monster finds God... he has plenty of time, of course, having all of that new study time in his cell), but his murderous actions, have caused many of his victims to burn in Hell for all eternity, because they had not yet found God..... (maybe they would have found God between that tragic night and the natural end to their lives... maybe days or decades later). No they did not mass-murder at least a dozen of their fellow man, and injure scores more..... and many of those may ask why God allowed this to happen to them, and fall from their beliefs? Hang the perp, I say... and do it swiftly. Pray for the dead and the injured alike.
Well, I’m the forgiving type, too. If he shot me three times — and then offered me three free shots from the same distance — I’d forgive him...
It doesnt matter if he wants it or not. He just got it. By forgiving the shooter he is not allowing himself to be controlled by the past. Not dwelling on it and moving on quickly.
