In a rare, unscripted moment, Mitt Romney joked with Brian Williams after the famed NBC anchor asked the Republican presidential candidate would pick a incredibly boring white guy for Vice President, as reported by Politico.
You told me you were not available, Romney said with a chuckle.
Touche, governor, Williams responded.

incredibly boring white guy for Vice President
****************************************************
Don’t we currently have such a man as VP?
Ooh, that one's gonna leave a mark.
And who was it that said that the wuss, white-bread, Mr. No Personality, RINO, had/has no sense of humor?
incredibly boring white guy
White racism on white, I will not stand for this!!!
Joe the Plagiarist? When he gives canned speeches, he's incredibly boring. But when he adlibs, he is incredibly bizarre. I just love the weird stuff he says, even if I can't tell what he's talking about. I remember hearing Joe Cocker give an interview totally stoned and he made more sense than Joe.
The barbed subtext is that Brian Williams isn’t exactly some incredibly diverse minority anchor guy. And that is why Williams flushed - that was an attack on him for his hypocrisy.
Yup, LOL. I suspect Joe is a drunk? I don’t dislike him as a person, but I wouldn’t trust him to water my grass.
“that was an attack on him for his hypocrisy.”
Exactly. And that’s why it was a brilliant comeback. He just discredited Williams with every segment of the US population, all of whom agree that he is a boring white guy.
He was a friend of Ted Kennedy, so that answers that. And one of his nicknames is "Slow Joe."
That’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are.
So many people think Brian Williams is a fair journalist. They couldn’t be more wrong. Yeah, he’s not the flame thrower like the nuts on MSNBC, but he’s still a Lib.
That being said, Romney really blew his London interviews! What the hell was he thinking by ticking off the UK press? He was tossed a softball by Williams (and he’ll not get another softball!) and Romney blew it! WTF??

The Vice-Retard is a lot of things, but boring ain’t one of them.
You’d think a constipated Socialist like Brian Williams would be an excellent pick for Willard.
The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."
