Democrats' biggest concern isn't the economy; it's whether Obama has already peaked. There are numerous reasons to believe it's true. If true, there are rapidly diminishing opportunities for the Administration to reverse it, and a growing list that could accelerate it.
Pick your poll: the presidential race is a toss-up. ...
The race has been so tight for so long, that it is not news -- until we factor in campaign spending. While the focus has been on Republicans' advantage with Super PACs, the overlooked story is how much Obama has outspent Romney on campaign advertising.
Looking at the polls in this context, the worry should be clear: despite significantly outspending Romney, Obama has gotten no separation from him. Nor is it just Democratic spending that has assailed Romney. He weathered a long grueling primary, during which he was the constant target of all challengers.
The realization should be emerging that Obama was not really that strong in 2008, when he massively outspent a disadvantaged opponent. And he is even weaker now -- despite an early and significant spending advantage -- when he will be unable to financially overwhelm a stronger opponent. The questions Democrats must be asking is: Has Obama already peaked? And can he hold on just long enough?

Well, he is a pointy headed liberal.
No more options. They've already played every card from the bottom of the deck. I don't think there are any demographics or issues left for him evolve on.
He’s not so much a has-been as a never-was...
The entire reason that Obama has spent such a vast sum so early is that his owning polling shows two things:
1. He’s behind
2. There are almost no undecided voters left
If he hasn’t peaked, it’s NOT his fault. Seriously. He’s done everything possible to lose in a landslide of Reagan v Carter proportions. The Republicans are fiddling and trembling in fear when clearly not only should Obama be slaughtered in this election, he should’ve already been impeached and incarcerated for high crimes and treason!!
his, and the LSM’s, problem is that we now know who he is and what he believes in.
First thing I thought of when I saw the headline. How can he have peaked when he never was in the first place.
McCain was a very poor candidate and an even worse campaigner. Obama's victory said very little about him since there was very little to say about him. There was no vetting of his candidacy. And yet McCain was so weak as to allow a clearly unacceptable challenge to beat him.
In his planned destruction of America?
I’ve been reading tons of comments on yahoo after Øbama stories. And 99.8% of them are against him.
That seems unusual for left-leaning yahoo.
McCain was hand-picked by the media...initially so that Hillary could be coronated.
And then the perfect storm occurred and Obama eclipsed Hillary. McCain was the ever-willing patsy regardless of who the opposition was, or just how much they could and would damage America.
Which is why 0bama is pushing the 3rd party guys:
This is really a sign of desperation.
Remember the SC decision on ObamaCare. We were so sure of it being struck down.
Now, back to your original programming/comment thread.
Yes, I saw that.
He should resign and make things easier for everybody. Or maybe not, because then we’d have Slow Joe running and the possibility of him becoming a redux of LBJ with a slight indian accent. Seriously man, true story.
I don't know. Ask his boyfriend.
“we now know who he is and what he believes in”
The “you didn’t build that” remark was devastatingly bad for Obama. In just a few short words (which is the beauty of this) his Marxism was there for all to see. It will go down in political annals as one of the greatest campaign blunders in history. And the timing couldn’t have been better.
I hope it gets so bad that he and Moochelle and the pups hop on Air Force One on November 7th to get dropped off in a country that has no extradition treaty with the United States.
