Well, I tried. I really did. But, I only have an hour for lunch! I waited in the car line for about 20 minutes, drove around to the store front and the line was out the door.

So, I had to go to Jack-in-the-Box. Needless, to say they had NO line. LOL.

Great to see, though. Wish I could’ve gotten some pics.

Redux:

The Tea Party, flying at Mach 3 high above the effective range of hurled hate filled epithets, deployed multiple cluster devices over the United States today. Each device contained hundreds of thousands of individual patriotic Americans determined not to submit to being forced to celebrate the rejection of God's laws. These individuals came to the defense of thousands of Christian owned franchised businesses drawing heavy liberal fire for speaking the truth. The truth won the day as the franchises broke all previous sales records nationwide. Liberals were left stunned and worried about how they were going to have to lie to cover up such a serious and devastating defeat. Meanwhile the Tea Party dropped below the government controlled media radar, kicked in full afterburner, and disappeared without a trace.

Got to the local Chick-Fil-A (Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, NJ) at around 11:30.

All the packing spots were taken in their lot (about 100)

I parked in the Lowes lot with a mass of others, others parked in Canals Liquore parking lot.

About 3 people had signs up in support of same sex marriage.

One police car was present just in case, but no one seemed to be paying attention to them.

Like your report, the drive through had around 20 cars lined up.The line stretched outside the building.

They really planned for this because they had a table set up outside arranging seating for those who wanted to dine inside.

They also allowed those of us who were taking out to go to a separate line, and I was in and out within 5minutes.

All the folks were cheery and laughing. Some of the comments were, "I hope they make a million dollars today."

"So the DNC is going with a platform of supporting gay marriage?"

While I was in line I saw a city code compliance car pull up and thought for a minute that the city brownshirts(sEIU thugs) might be there to shut things down. Imagine my surprise when the dude got in line to buy food! LOL!

True - I have 5000 facebook friends, mostly political people, and the Chick a Filet thing was a truly organic viral thing.

Pics everywhere on FB. Funny too how the few libs I know are in total meltdown over this.

MSNBC via Thomas Roberts is now an advocate for gay marriage. Who could have guessed?! /S

******

Thomas Roberts @ThomasARoberts Son, brother, uncle, fiance & News Anchor/Host @ MSNBC based in New York City.

Roberts publicly acknowledged he is gay while speaking at the annual convention of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) in Miami, Florida, which was held on September 8, 2006.

He has been in a relationship with his partner, Patrick D. Abner, since 2000. According to an AfterElton.com interview, they celebrated their anniversary on September 30, 2006. On June 25, 2011, one day after same-sex marriage in New York was legalized, Roberts announced his engagement to Abner on his Twitter page.

Slidell, LA Gauss Blvd store is packed. Very heavy traffic within 1/2 mile of store in both directions. Much more than normal lunch-time traffic. I’m unsure of the activity at the mall location store.

I wish that I could go see the crowds. The CFA with the largest “normal” daily volume is on Germantown Rd. Memphis, Tn. This is where I would normally go. There is no way that a person on 02 could stand in the heat and humidity, probably for an hour or more.

Took my two sons to lunch and local CFA that is in ‘burb north of Austin. This particular CFA sits in a strip center that is on a frontage road at the intersection of two major highways. Multiple drive ways lead into the restaurant and every one of them was backed up with traffic. People sitting patiently in their cars trying to find their way into a drive thru line that had multiple spoke inlets and wound around the building. Parking lot was jammed. We parked one parking lot over, as did others. Parking lots surrounding the restaurant were packed. Before we even walked into the door we could see a mob was inside and wow,,the line wound around the inside of the building TWICE and then out the side door. Large families, lots of children,,people were in a GREAT mood,,no one was upset or impatient. The parking lots was extremely busy but calm. No one honking or pushing or screaming. It was like a big party. The staff was actually in a wonderful mood, the place was clean and we were inside a total of 15 mins before we got our food! Even with all that traffic and volume, we got our food right away. People were hugging and high fiving and clapping. The mood was so upbeat and again, I cannot say enough about how friendly and quick the staff were. In the parking lot they had multiple attendants taking orders and taking payment and the line was moving the cars right through. CFA should be incredibly proud of this store today, and proud to stand by their values. BTW - we ordered twice as much food as we needed, just to make a point. We’ll eat it later or give it to the neighbors (except for the cookies, those we’ll keep)! I am so proud of my community today. Truly.

I suspect the restaurants in the area picked up some extra bucks from people who saw the incredible lines at CFA and didn’t have time to negotiate them and wait, so they made choice B.
