It’s going to have no effect at all on the Dem vote. And Romney hasn’t said a thing against it, and in fact forced state personnel to perform “gay marriages” during his term as Gov. of MA, where he was known as the “godfather of gay marriage.”
So don’t be surprised if the GOP adds the same plank or at any rate does not defend legitimate marriage in any way in its own platform.
All I can I do is watch as they self-destruct. They really act like they have gone psychotic.

I would hope that some Republican-aligned organization takes up the challenge to publicize this in the Hispanic community, with huge billboards showing two men kissing, with the message that if you vote for Democrats/Obama it means that you want to see more of that in the streets and wedding chapels. Perfectly truthful ad, perfectly damaging to the Commies in a demographic that they think is theirs.
