Harry Reid wants to see more of Mitt Romney's past income-tax filings. Debbie Wasserman Schultz wants to see 23 years of his taxes. This, from the die-hard supporters of a candidate who will not release his college transcripts or so much more.
I want to know how Barack Obama got into Columbia University for undergraduate school. I want to see his application. Did he seek extra consideration, as did Elizabeth Warren in applying for her academic opportunities, by claiming to be a member of a demographic group favored by affirmative action? I imagine that he did not falsely claim special treatment on a theory of being foreign-born, but I would like to know for sure. It is immaterial where he was born -- I want to know whether he claimed on his applications, as his book publisher later would write about him, that he had overcome the disadvantages of being foreign-born.
What did he write to the dean of admissions of Columbia University about his childhood, his education, his background? Every college-transfer application to Columbia requires that the student write a narrative, tell his story, explain why he deserves a crack at the Ivy League after a brief sojourn at a lesser institution.
I want to know who funded his college education.
Columbia costs an arm and a leg. Did Barack Obama have benefactors, admirers of his youthful promise, paying his way? Did he take loans?

They want tax returns based on an accusations by Reid but ignore that bozo the clown has sealed his records, hell he won’t even show his B/C in GA when the judge ordered him to.
It goes to show that the left knows full well they can say and do anything as they have their left wing media to cover for them

While we are calling for records to be made public, apart from the details of Reid’s land deal, there is a bunch of Obama records I’d like to see starting with his immigration and Selective Service records. I’d also like to see upon what basis he was admitted to Occidental College and Columbia. Did he tell them that he was a foreign student? Oh, so many questions and such little time...
What for? Probably because they’re in big trouble and have nothing else to run on. Certainly not Obama’s economic record, that’s for sure.

When these questions were brought out wouldn’t some person at IRS have investigated his returns looking for fraud and the results come out?
The IRS finds mistakes in what the common person makes without much effort.
I want to see Romney’s father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate’s tax returns as well!
So they can mine them for data to use against him. (Gotcha's in the form of "why did he deduct X amount for this? Why wasn't that taxed at a higher value? This was depreciated to much. That write-off shouldn't be allowed") Just like with Harry Reid: it's the question that sows the seed of doubt. They don't care what the answer is, get the question out to their friends in the "news" media and let them have fun with it.
Dems know full well Romney’s returns are going to be technically correct and show he paid everything he was legally responsible for.
But dems also know the average American doesn’t dwell on intricacies of tax law and therefore will react indignantly that Romney pays maybe 14% while they pay maybe 28%.
Of course the difference is dividend taxation (basis of which has already been taxed) and earned income. Dems love to make it sound like low/no taxes and off-shore accounts are entirely the purview of “the rich” when in fact, anyone can and should use these techniques.
Example: Off-shore accounts just sound so sinister - right up there with drug smuggling - but they are just another tool. I was interested in buying a teeny tiny piece of land in the Caymans. To do so, I had to open a Cayman account at Wells Fargo to act as my pass through. No big deal... anyone can do it.
Dems just want a bigger dirt pile to dig in. Personally, I think Romney should state that he’ll turn over whatever when Obama opens all his hidden closets... and not before. I think Romney should say this at every opportunity until the pin prick becomes a dagger in the MSM. Sink the dem hypocrites with their own distractions.

Actually, I think Harry's retirement plan was hatched some time ago. That's what freed him up to make this statement about Romney.
The pubbies should demand that Obama release all his passport information, college transcripts, documentation on why he used a social security # issued in CT. where he never lived,his student loan file, his college thesis etc.
Romney would just fall into the Rats trap by releasing his tax records as the RATS will nit pick with the aid of the state run media.
