I could see that, too. Biden is more like Goofy than an attack dog. And as Secretary of State, choosing her would play into the meme the Dems are already trying to generate, that Ryan has no foreign policy experience.
That was my favorite line. The stream I was watching (CBS) wasn't without gaps, though.

That Paul Ryan would propose such a good idea is hardly surprising. That he could get even a little support from the Democratic side of the commission is surely surprising, and a good sign.
