’2016: Obama’s America’ Movie Is Disturbingly Necessary

How “ironical”... this movie is “disturbingly necessary” because of the socialist-enabling propogandists posing as today’s MSM, like CBS, ABC, ANC, CNN, etc.

“They want to create “a better world”

"...they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten? They'll swing back to the belief that they can make people... better. And I do not hold to that." -- Capt. Malcolm Reynolds, main character of Joss Whedon's movie "Serenity".

Does anyone know if this movie has changed anyone’s mind?

FTA:

How could one so-highly educated and intelligent as Obama not know what he was doing when he incurred such debt? I left the movie thinking more strongly than I had in the past that the current debt and this economy was part of Obama’s plan all along. Increasingly making Americans dependent on the government is the plan. What’s more, he knew his blind followers would believe it was not the plan and, of course, was all Bush’s fault.(Emphasis added.)

Many Tea Partiers and FReepers have been upset about the Obama debt because of the terrible burden it imposes on future generations. Actually, it's far worse than that because it inflicts two terrible, immediate, and fully intended injuries: 1) just as with Lenin in Russia when the Bolsheviks took over, it erodes the currency, destroys private wealth, and forces previously self-sufficient citizens to become government dependents and 2) it devastates the country's credit rating, making all government expenditures more costly and, even worse, making it very hard to do the massive borrowing that would be essential to fight a major war or deal with another national emergency.

I went hoping there were CC’ers in the audience; I even asked later of my CC friends there if they were CC’ing.

As a once-per-year movie-goer, it’s reassurance of safety, as I watched suspiciously the appearances/mannerisms of some lone characters that entered the theater.

2016 answers the “why?” question.

Obama’s mother painted the picture of his “Father’s Dreams”, and ensured he was fully indoctrinated in his anti-colonial and communist beliefs.

The movie very effectively explains what it means to be “anti-colonial”, and how important that is, relative to the return of the Winston Churchill bust.

Obama cut ties with his spiritual leader of 20 some years like he was changing his boxer shorts. I was no fan of Jeremiah Wright, but to be cast aside without so much as thought, or some sort of defense even though he was indefensible, was a glaring example of how thoughtless, ruthless and egotistical Obama is. He and his wife would probably throw their own children under the bus if they thought it would help them politically.

The man has no morals, no couth and considers himself supreme because he spends most of the day reading the glowing press clippings he’s received from the lame stream media over the past 4 years. Unfortunately, the sad truth is his tenure has been one of malaise, amateurism and general inexperience. The man hadn’t run as much as a hot dog stand in his life, and his lack of leadership skills are stark and unnerving. Mr. Obama was unfortunately a flavor of the month bought, sold and distributed by a left leaning media and after four unsuccessful years he has left virtually everybody with a bad taste in the mouth.

I believe the American populace will resoundingly do the right thing and expel him from office. If they don’t, then they will truly deserve what will come with another 4 years of this egotistical fool for a President.

As for the surface. I was impressed the 2004 convention speech. BUT the first speech I saw him give in 2007, did not show the same man. From the start, there are those cold eyes and outthrust chin that made him for me a repellant figure.

I think every member of the media should be required to watch it. Some agree with BO but others are just ignorant.

The funny thing is, if he ever succeeds to the extent he desires, most of them won't be needed anymore and will suffer just like the rest of us.

I blame the media for this man who never did anything important, to become POTUS. We all do!

Got it in one. The man is a moron who was rushed through all of his colleges on the affirmative action fast-track. Only the MSM's slobbering pandering to Ole Jug Ears enabled him to pass himself off as a lettered man of genius. He reads well enough to give a merely adequate speech when the teleprompter doesn't malfunction; otherwise, he becomes a gibbering fool.

The media owe this great nation an accounting for the damages imposed by the momentous falsehoods they perpetrated in 2008. I, like Thomas Jefferson, heartily agree on the importance of a free press, but second the great patriot's view that "It is a melancholy truth, that a suppression of the press could not more completely deprive the nation of its benefits, than is done by its abandoned prostitution to falsehood."

I watched it this weekend and was very impressed. Denesh used Obama’s own words and from his friends to make his points. No rumours, no conspiracy musings. I am afraid though that most Obama voters (this time) won’t be swayed by this. Communism sounds just fine to those who don’t work for a living.

Excerpt...

He must be laughing at his blind followers all the way to the “new America” they’re allowing him to create. My belief is that Obama continues to prey on his die-hard followers’ stupidity to accomplish his personal goals for America.

What’s just as bad as the SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS who conspired in the fraud to fool the american people into getting the ineligible radical obama on the ballot in the first place, are his anti american supporters infested in our MSM. We can and will boot the COMMUNIST OBAMA REGIME our on their rear ends in 2012. What are we going to do about these socialist frauds infested in the MSM. They will still be here. One thing we can do to eliminate these anti american frauds is to financially BUST EM NEVER TRUST EM, any way you can.

” A lot of the left wingers who support Obama are not blind to his motives. They are nihilistic destroyers who want to see the US system brought down. To call them “fooled” is naive. They are willing. They want to create “a better world” - unfortunately when you want to do that using government force innocents get trampled or worse. “

So far, 100 million people have been slaughtered in order to make this “a better world”

I caught that too... very strange. I assume the LA division will have job openings soon.

...because its hard to convince BO voters they were wrong.

In Jonestown it was reported there was rapturous singing of joy and praises... right up until that last half hour. Same-O, same-O

I saw the film this weekend with my informed, but not rabid anti-Obama wife. She doesn’t care for the man, and was never inclined to vote for him, but after seeing the movie, she was “ profoundly disturbed” by the lack of reporting from the national press. Had people been aware of these obvious, and serious red flags, any thinking American would have second-guessed entrusting our checkbook and national security to a mysterious, silky-voiced reader of someone else’s speeches....no background, no substance. This was American Idol.

While powerful, my only complaint with the film is that D’Souza should have spent a few more minutes demonstrating the American press’ willing abtication of thier role as unbiased fact-finders of truth.....regardless of personal opinions and politcal persuasions.

Given that Woodword and Bernstein won a Pulitzer for Watergate, an ethical journalist would have siezed on this candidate’s background, and made him/herselves a (wealthy) household name simply by doing their job, and pointing out that BHO is not who you think he is to the American voters. It takes a foreigner to rub our noses in the obvious.

....America knew more in 72 hours about Sarah Palin, and Joe the Plumber than we still know about BHO....now America knows more.

Anyone who can't see the 'bias' in the press doesn't want to see it.

You wrote what I was wondering about. Where is the outrage, the denial, the ridicule, etc. about this movie from the Left? I keep thinking somehow I just have not run across it. I have heard zip from them. Why? Maybe Liberals could be convinced to see it if we ask them to please go see it because we need to see their rebuttal.
