If this isn’t breaking news, what is?

Clint is no more “mealy mouthed” than “A Perfect World” is “recent”. It’s almost 20 years old.

I posted on a prior thread my opinion that it might be a religious/evangelical leader. I don’t know if Billy Graham is able physically, and he may actually have reservations about Romney’s faith, but if he were to speak it would be awesome. Or Franklin Graham, or David Barton.

>> Here’s my theory: The TBD ... was included because they wanted to keep a slot open...

You’re boring and logical. The other suggestions are much more fun (if much less likely).

Me? I think it’s gonna be “W”. :-)

If Romney has Sarah he indeed will hit not just a home run, but a Grand Slam, and my enthusiasm will return.....

I’m thinking Jim Robinson.

But I am silly that way.

Gawd I hope not. That would give the rats the “back to detailed bush era” mantra.

Probably be Clint...although Tebow would be interesting.

Another possibility that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet would be Colin Powell. To my knowledge, he has not endorsed Obama this year.

Surprise speaker?

I know:

Dave Mustaine, lead singer/guitar player of metal band Megadeth, who has been outspoken against O-bum-o.

Lyrics from “Peace Sells But Whose Buying” :

“What do you mean I don’t pay my bills?
Why do you think I’m broke? Huh?”

And....

“If there’s a new way, I’ll be the first in line”

If it’s anyone but Sarah, it will be a disappointment. This is the first election year I haven’t watched the Republican Convention, and don’t plan on it. Only Sarah could compel me to watch.

How about Nancy Reagan? Or better yet, a big screen presentation of one on Ronald Reagan's speeches on either socialism or healthcare.

So, does this mean that Detroit's NOT coming back?

The Kenyan must go.
