CBS POLL: GOP HAS HUGE TURNOUT EDGE OVER DEMS

Mike Flynn

One of the chief reasons the media is so mistaken in their zeal to proclaim Obama the election winner is that most of the polls they're basing their predictions on are wildly inflating Democrat turnout. The overwhelming majority of media polls are assuming an electorate that is at least as Democrat as the one in 2008, with many polls assuming a higher Democrat turnout. This is just daft. The latest CBS poll of 3 swing states is the most recent to show that GOP has a huge turnout advantage over Democrats.

.......

Yesterday, CBS/NYT released its latest Quinnipiac poll of Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin. With the exception of CO, the polls had heavy Democrat skews, so the head-to-head match-ups aren't particularly informative. What was telling though was the differences in enthusiasm between the two parties.

In all three states, a majority of Republicans say they are more enthusiastic about voting this year, compared to about a third of Democrats who are. In Colorado and Virginia, GOP voters are more enthusiastic than Democrats by a 15 point margin. In Wisconsin, GOP enthusiasm outpaces Democrats by 16 points.

Particularly interesting is that GOP voters have become more enthusiastic about voting in the past month.

I have had this feeling for a long time, but most of my GOPer friends are nervous about the election.

Good, then they'll make sure to vote. Meanwhile, I hope the democrats are all reading the "Obama has already won" articles and deciding to go golfing on election day rather than voting.

Nervous is good if it gets channelled into action. It’s broken glass crawling time in America.

“I’ll crawl over broken glass to save my beloved homeland from a second term of America’s first openly Maoist President.”

Same here. I plan on being at my polling station before the election officials get there to open the building up, in order to cast my vote to oust the Usurping Commie-in-Chief.

I am nervous too, but more because of the horrible ramifications that could come with an Obama win. I fight the doubts each day and likely will until this nightmare is over.

As it is now, with THESE democrats in power and that Bastard Obama in the White House, I really don’t like my country anymore.

I will be 64 next month, I have loved my country all of my life and I have served her, but what we are living through right now, is not America. I don’t know for sure what it is, but it damn sure isn’t America.

If you have Firefox whoisdat addon installed you can right click on the image and within a second or two get the person identified. I have never had it fail on a celebrity or public person type. Even works with multiple people in the picture.

Yep. Just because we have plenty of ammo doesn’t mean we want to use it in the upcoming financial armageddon if Obama is reelected.

I was one of those CO voters who decided to answer the phone when I saw it was the Quinnipiac poll. I thought it was odd that they also asked whether or not I owned a firearm and if I considered myself a member of the TEA Party. I'm probably on someone's watch list now.

You can also go to Google, click on Images and click on the camera on the right side of the entry box. You can either upload an image or enter its URL.

“Wrong track” doesn’t come close to how I feel about things in this country right now. The country as we know it won’t survive four more years of this.

Early voting and mail voting scares the heck out of me. They really have no way of knowing where those ballots are coming from. It makes fraud so easy.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. Beyond the presidential preference questions they also asked me if I attended church regularly and whether or not I thought abortion should be legal.

I have a poster pinned on my wall showing the Tower of Sauron with the 0bama eye in place of the great eye. The date is 11.06.2012.

The Tower falls on November 6th. I wish I could photoshop it and make a hundred posters for my lawn, car, etc...

The MSM will continue to promote Obama each night on the news. Who is watching the stupid network news channels?
Most people have the internet and can watch stations such as Fox. Lots of people are not watching anything. They are too busy talking on cell phones, watching sports and getting drunk.

So am I, Sarah. Some days. I am almost physically I’ll. I won’t relax until 11/7 and that is only if we win by an indisputable majority. Then we have to deal with the days leading up to Inauguration. If the worst comes to pass, I will move to a more remote location, if I can. And any family member or friend that votes for the clown a 2nd time ... Well, I will never forgive them. Ever.

Mail voting

When has the unionized federally subsidized mail carriers ever, ever did anything wrong... like hoard mail or something?

It’s not like federal unions are politically biased or anything

A lot of liberal moderate and independent leaning Dems have had a belly full of expunging their “white guilt” the last election. Being unemployed, underemployed, and watching their retirement savings go down the toilet has a tendency to change their perspective.
