Queens teacher suing city claiming he was beaten up by a first-grader
‘Tiny terror,’ 6, unleashes wrath at school
A hulking Queens gym teacher and former college football player claims a pupil fractured his ankle, injured his knee and forced him to go to a shrink for stress — even though the kid was only 50 pounds and in first grade.
Burly, 220-pound PS 330 teacher John Webster, 27, said a 4-foot-2 Rodrigo Carpio, 6, also kicked and pinched the Elmhurst school’s principal, a security officer and another teacher during a rampage in April.
“It’s sort of like an angel-devil sort of thing,” said the 5-foot-10 Webster, who recently filed a notice of his intent to sue the city and says he must now wear braces on his right ankle and knee.
“[Rodrigo] looks like an angel, but then, all of a sudden, that halo turns into horns. It’s been a nightmare. It’s embarrassing. It’s humiliating.”
But Rodrigo’s dad, Jorge Carpio, 44, scoffed: “The lawsuit is totally absurd. How could my little boy do so much damage? My poor son.”
The boy’s mom added, “This is a terrible thing to say [about] a child.”
“To every mother, their child is an angel,” said Josefa Marcia da Silva, 33, of her son, now 4-foot-3 and 64 pounds. “I know that he has problems, but he doesn’t deserve to be called such names.”
But Webster’s claims are backed up by an April 26 school “occurrence report” filed by the principal that says Rodrigo “was physically aggressive” and karate-kicked Webster in the knee and ankle that day.
Webster was accompanying Rodrigo and other students to the cafeteria for lunch when the boy started horseplaying, the teacher told The Post.

I know of two men who were each jumped and mugged by a gang of children (many years ago). Each guy was alone when it happened. In both instances, the kids just “came out of nowhere.” Both men were in their 20’s (I think) at the time, and both said it was embarrassing.
6 years old and he’s 4 ft 2 inches?!

In elementary school one day at PE the teacher hauled off and punched one of the boys in the chest. I don’t remember what the kid was doing to make the gym teacher so mad, but we never saw the teacher again. The kid must have flown backwards about 4 feet and landed flat on his back.
I’m a 5’5’’ 120 pounds teacher, and this wuss is just looking for a payday.
You can restrain a kid without hurting him.
Why should he lie about it? When I was (very briefly, I'm not insane) a public school teacher, it was made very clear to me that I was absolutely forbidden to defend myself if a student attacked me.
There is no way you can make this crap up!
Because in the alternative schools, we can lay hands on them, and restrain them so that no one (hopefully including us) gets hurt. They know that no one in public school can touch them and will laugh in your face as they kick and punch you. Non-public alternative schools are an entirely different story.

These beastlike kids need a good-old fashioned whipping like no one's business. Just today, I saw a boy who was wearing those stupid shoes that have wheels in them pull his leg back and kick his mother in the butt, HARD. Her reaction? She just kept walking like it never happened. If he was mine, he might be able to sit down again by the time he was ready for Social Security.
Too bad he didn’t have a secret video of the kid in action. He should sue the kids parents for not giving him his medicine and the kids doctor for not prescribing adequate calming drugs. The kid should not be allowed out in public without restraints and a Hannibal Lector mask on.
I can’t imagine me nor my siblings even contemplating for the space of a breath doing something like that. First the azz-kicking from my mom, then another one from my dad for showing such disrespect, to say the least. Kids will only do what they know you’ll let them do, and they’re always pushing the envelope to see where your boundaries are and how firm they are. Like little animals, they’re not stupid, in that they have cunning and instinct. But they want their parents to tell them no, unless they’re born sociopaths.
The biggest problem with the ones like the one you saw is, they come to believe that if they can get away with it with their parents, then they need respect no authority. She can just keep walking the day he gets his first sentence too.
I hate kids. Never had any, don’t want any. Now I know why, thanks to this article. Worthless little monsters!

And that’s probably where he will end up.
Many parents today seem to favor the ignore tactic. Let them scream in your face for half an hour, or assault you like I saw today, but if you just don’t acknowledge it, they’ll get tired and stop. Yeah, right. I know my mom would have “ignored” me for as long as it took to set her purse down so she could grab me and spank my behind-—in public, if necessary.
An 8 year old kid in my class in 1945 kicked the living crap out of a woman teacher that was about 35, actually knocked her out.
They kicked him out of school for the rest of the semester but he caught up by the 6th grade and eventually became a very successful architect, now retired.
And if they don’t ignore it, they endlessly yell at the kid (only if he’s annoying them, never because he’s annoying innocent bystanders) outlandish threats while doing exactly nothing. So then you have the kid’s obnoxious behavior plus the “adult’s” obnoxious behavior, all at high decibel. Or the few that have any shame snatch the kid’s arm out its armpit and drag them home.
The threat of CPS removing children has made proper discipline nearly impossible.

I was that tall when I was 6.
When I was 12 I had completed growing and was 6 ft tall and weighed 150.
Put on a brain bucket and goggles and went 114 in a 1/4 5/16 flathead rail on gas at Santa Ana Drag strip!
