The security lapses in Benghazi that led to the death of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans trace back to security decisions made in Washington. That's the message of a letter Rep. Darrell Issa sent to Secretary Clinton Tuesday.

I’ve heard that Christopher Stevens was gay. Perhaps he had some firsthand accounts of 0bama being gay and 0bama wanted him ERASED.

Well folks like Eric Holder not reading his e-mails about Fast &Furious. So he did not know anything about it,I am sure this timeline parallels the time Obama was not taking his daily National Security briefings,so how could he know?

April 6, 2012 - An IED is thrown over the consulate fence in Benghazi.
April 11, 2012 - A gun battle 4km from the Benghazi consulate.
April 25, 2012 - A US Embassy guard in Tripoli is detained at a militia checkpoint.
April 26, 2012 - A fistfight escalates into a gunfight at a Benghazi Medical University and a US Foreign Service Officer in attendance is evacuated.
April 27, 2012 - Two South African contractors are kidnapped in Benghazi, questioned and released.
May 1, 2012 - Deputy Commander of the local guard force in Tripoli is carjacked and beaten.
May 22, 2012 - RPG rounds are fired at the Red Cross outpost in Benghazi.
June 2012 - A pro-Gaddafi Facebook page posts photos of Ambassador Stevens making his morning run in the city of Tripoli and made a threat toward the Ambassador.
June 6, 2012 - An IED is left at the gate of the US consulate in Benghazi.
June 10, 2012 - RPG is fired at the convoy carrying the British Ambassador in broad daylight as he is nearing the British consulate in Benghazi. No one is killed but the British later close the consulate.
Late June, 2012 - Another attack on the Red Cross outpost in Benghazi, this one in daylight. The Red Cross pulls out leaving the US consulate the last western outpost in the city.
August 6, 2012 - Attempted carjacking of a vehicle with US diplomatic plates in Tripoli.
Weeks prior to Sept. 11, 2012 - Libyan guards at the Benghazi consulate are “warned by their family members to quit their jobs” because of rumors of a “impending attack.”

While the list suggests a clear pattern it is far from complete. For instance, in April a bomb was thrown at a convoy carrying the head of the UN mission to Libya as he traveled through Benghazi.

He most likely lied to his diary. Happens all the time.

If Romney doesn’t use this he’s certifiable. This plus the State Department memo denying any security threat is all he needs to put the lie to the Administration story.

If there is even a small spark where all that smoke is boiling out from, then there is a serious instance of dissonance at the top. Sacrificing an experienced State Department officer for personal vindication or to cover up personal lapses is something that the Medici family may have done back in the days of the Renaissance, or the Soviet Union more recently.

Thee is no sense of camaraderie when observing the Current Regime objectively. This is a band of cutthroats bound together more for purposes of convenience than collegiality.

If we can get them to fighting each other, then the battle is well begun.

I’d like to know where all these women like Hillary and MO find their stylists. Its like they pay people to make them look bad. When John Kerry was running for Prez, Theresa could have spent $100 with my beautician, got rid of that fuzzy hair she called a doo, and looked a heckuva lot better.
It just amazes me that they are paying someone to look so bad.

Those are rumors with no basis in fact, AFAIK. Partially based on a friend of his, who people said was gay too, but has a wife and children. Unless I hear otherwise from reputable source, I doubt he was gay.

Stevens appears to be a bachelor from San Francisco. So you do the math.

The outpouring of support in the wake of slain U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens’ death has prompted his family in the San Francisco Bay Area, and elsewhere, to establish a fund to support innovative “people-to-people” ideas that further peace in the Middle East.

Stevens’ brother, Tom Stevens, 46, an assistant U.S. Attorney in San Francisco, told NBC Bay Area on Friday that his family has established the J. Christopher Stevens Fund to award individuals and organizations who have good ideas on how to promote tolerance and peace in the Middle East.

“We just had this overwhelming response,” Tom Stevens said. “We have received emails, texts, letters, flowers, you name it. And then Chris’ Facebook page, it just went worldwide. We just wanted to put all these wishes to good use and see them carried out.”

His mother, Mary Commanday, who lives in Oakland, added that the family has been “innundated” with well wishes, and the family was thrilled to be doing something positive in her son’s name.

Chris Stevens, 52, was killed, along with three other embassy workers on Sept. 11 in Benghazi, Libya, a country where he was the United States ambassador. The White House has deemed the killing a terrorist attack, although the specific perpetrators and motives have not clearly been spelled out. Stevens, who spent his high school years in Piedmont, Calif., and who attended the University of California at Berkeley, and UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, was the first U.S. Ambassador to be killed since 1979.

The fund named after Christopher Stevens is officially a partner of the New Venture Fund, a nonprofit public charity in Washington, D.C., and should soon have an advisory board of members who will determine how future donations will be spent, Tom Stevens said.

Tom Stevens encouraged anyone who wants to donate, and anyone who wants to submit an idea for a project, to contact the family on the www.rememberingchrisstevens.com homepage. At this point of its early inception, Tom Stevens said the family is considering a number of proposals, but no grants have been distributed yet.

In general, Tom Stevens said that the board is likely to grant money to established groups whose mission is to help “build bridges” between Americans and people in the Middle East - spots where his older brother had worked including Libya, Tunisia, Israel, Syria and Egypt.

Tom Stevens said projects that will be considered for funding depending on the amount of money raised will “promote religious tolerance, cultural understanding, educational youth exchanges, and other people-to-people programs.”

Plans to memorialize Chris Stevens have still to be finalized.

If they are going to murder soldiers in Afghanistan for their love of Muslims, let all the ambassadors be murdered by the State Department’s political correctness, too.

That way “important” people can get a feel for what it’s like to be killed by the US government for a big fat jihadi lie. In fact, lets pull all the guards from DC buildings and invite Muslims in for prayer on Friday.
