Obama’s Debate Strategy: Unilateral Disarmament?(It's official, they are turning on Obama
Times ^ | October 3,2012 | Joe Kline

Posted on 10/03/2012 9:10:05 PM PDT by Raycpa

Well, I’m with all the other talking heads: Mitt Romney won this debate. Barack Obama lost it. I mean, he got his butt kicked. It was, in fact, one of the most inept performances I’ve ever seen by a sitting President.

.....

But I must admit, once again, to being mystified: Did the President send out his body double tonight? Because if that was the actual Barack Obama out there, I’m not sure he can communicate well enough to be an effective President in a time of trouble, to say nothing of winning a second term.

Liberals looking at the Debate tonight had the same experience Roddy Rowdy Piper’s character had in the Movie “They Live” when he put on the magic Sunglasses.

Good thing Romney came to the debate prepared to kick ass and chew bubble gum and he was all out of bubble gum.

I caught Obummer several times looking out at the audience and nodding at something too. I got the same impression that a signal was passed...either that or he was giving a nod to Lehrer to change the subject???

I’ve never been so impressed as I was tonight with Mitt. Sure he isn’t the most exciting guy in the room, but when he speaks and the CEO in him comes out - you take notice!! He is a commanding figure - and was clearly the adult on stage tonight.

Next debate,

The next debate TOPIC is FOREIGN POLICY. The Obama team is hoping to stomp Romney because of his lack of foreign policy experience.

“Or I could be wrong and obama really is that much of an idiot. It’s not obama I’m worried about, it’s his handlers’ response that has me wondering what the next move will be.”

If Obama really is that much of an idiot, and I suspect that he really is, then there’s not much his handlers can do about his next debate performances, because little Barry’s gonna be ALL alone up there behind his podium, with no little thingie in his ear to whisper the answers to him, no adoring, hand-picked audience to swoon over him, no teleprompter to read from, and no softball questions from the twits on “The View”.

Actually I like anyone who is an avid golfer, so I like that one thing about Odumbo.

You do realize he doesn't go to the golf course to golf, don't you? You may see a few SET UP pictures of him playing a hole, but don't let that fool you. The golf course is where he meets with those he doesn't want to sign in on the WH logs.

Mistress Moo will give the little retard a good arse whipping tonight.

She’s not going to let him get her dumped off the gravy train without putting up some kind of a fight.

Sarah Palin was right - If it looks like Romney is surging ahead, the Obozo camp will go nuclear and let the dirty tricks fly.

You mean Jim Lehrer was out in the audience coaching him and helping him cheap with the Teleprompter sitting next to him giving him signals ?

Exactly and no msm to cover for him.

This is the entire truth of the matter. For the first time, most Americans are seeing an unfiltered vision of the two candidates. Up until this point, Great Leader has been campaigning on The View and Letterman. He has been working the popular and trivial mentalities of our nation. But a presidential debate is a bit more serious. Anyone watching saw which of the two was more qualified, minus any spin. Notice, for example, Great Leader did not argue nor refute the 'panel' which will decide health matters. Romney presented fact and Obama, did not.

Two more debates, and about a month, remain. Let us pray because much may happen in the coming weeks and there are few more dangerous animals than a cornered liberal.

Lazy, affirmative action sham artist versus real mergers and acquisitions business tycoon and denomination leader. I'm surprised Barry doesn't just accede the race to Mitt and go retire in that $35 million dollar mansion in Hawaii. It's done.

I suspect it will be like the Bush/Gore debates. I think the next time Obama debates Romney, he’s going to be wired up and will try to be the alpha male. Like Gore, I think Obama will snap to the other extreme in a way which reinforces the idea that he’s a little unstable and not confident.

If Romney can keep a cool head and be deliberate with the facts and with his rebuttals, I think he’ll do well. It will be interesting to see if the moderator next time will do more to help Obama.

If Romney did one thing well tonight, it was that he may have cracked Obama’s armor enough that some of the undecided and even some democrats will realize they are tired of Obama and not want him around anymore.

This is probably the first time that Obama has been directly challenged in an election. McCain certainly didn’t go after him like he should have.

Yeah, but Obama is supposed to be the most brilliant man ever. He can’t even defend his own record without a teleprompter.
