President Obama may not be as skilled an orator as he is thought to be by the media, but he is not as inept as he came across in the first debate. I believe he purposefully stumbled. The stammering, the lack of focus, at one point bumping the microphone were in my opinion a carefully constructed act. I believe he is trying to set the stage for a knock-out punch to his opponent in the next debate. From now until then the media will focus on Obama and his need to have a strong showing. If I am right the question is will Romney be prepared?
He has no material.. all he has is basketball picks and play lists.

Obama has become a sheltered creature spouting talking points that have less and less to do with reality in an echo chamber of adoration...and Romney hammered his talking points to dust with truth. Obama hated every second of it...his pain and fatigue were real...a beaten man exposed to the world as a fraud.
You have got to be kidding! A person with Obozo's ego and arrogance would never purposely come off as badly as he did on a national stage...never! The risk/reward ratio is simply too untenable. There are plenty of pre-debate articles about how Obozo was whining to his political advisers about having to prepare for the debate. It seems pretty obvious to most of last night's observers that he won the argument with his advisers and blew off the requisite prep time.

Your right. Obama’s plan was to go into the debates with leads in all the polls...and then purposefully flush the lead down the crapper.

When confronted by a superior that challenged him, Obama lost it.
Obama finally couldn’t hide behind the skirts of the state-run media. And he was shown to be the empty suit that he really is.
Do you remember Milli Vanilli? They turned out to be a couple of guys just lip synching to recordings from professional musicians. And that’s what Obama really is: a mouthpiece for the people that created him.
