Are there People or Groups Organizing Conservative Poll Watchers Across the States?

I have been considering taking the day off to help drive people to the polls and instead thought that it would be more helpful to poll watch in Leftist strongholds. If there are organizations that are doing this I would be interested in helping.

Frankly, I would only want to do this with at least one other watcher, and a constantly running camera.

Anyone else interested in this? Ideas?

I thought the Soros owned company is counting the votes. How do you poll watch against that? Does anyone know if this is true?

Have no idea of other states but here in Florida, the law now stipulates that poll workers are not exclusively selected by the precinct managers but at least 50% of them are appointed by the Supervisor of Elections (SoE) for each county and at least one of them must be of the minority party affiliation.

Here in Duval County the SoE has stipulated his own rule that the party affiliation will be an even balance. So in essence, the poll watching issue is not a huge one as many poll watchers of past are now poll workers with a far better chance to see more and enforce more than poll watchers who were always kept at a distance.

I know this does not address much of the chances of fraud through Absentee Ballots, but the state is doing lots on that scenario as well. Their investigations into people voting in two different states has netted several already and put on notice that anyone thinking of doing this is going to be caught. They already nabbed a Democrat Congressional candidate for the first district of Maryland. That person has quit the race but I’m sure the legal process is just beginning.

Contact either your local Republican organization, or you local Tea Party organization. Both groups are organizing extensively for this purpose.

You can’t take a camera into the polling place but you can film from outside watching who goes in. (or anyone loitering outside with weapons would be handy to have filmed.)

It is MUCH BETTER to call the election office in your county and become a poll worker. You can’t be thrown out if you are a WORKER. A poll watcher is good but if the election judge doesn’t like you or you talk out of turn then he/she can throw you out.

The point is to have eyes on the voting from the inside and at the counting place at the end.

PLEASE EVERYONE CONSIDER TAKING THE DAY OFF AND WORK THE ELECTION. The dems have done it for years, why do you think they can cheat at the polls? Because there aren’t Conservative eyes making sure they don’t!!!

At each poll there should be an “R” and a “D” I have seen 3 “D’s” working a polling place because there aren’t enough “R’s” signed up.
We must stop that and especially THIS election!

Locally, there is probably some law firm who trains for and promotes “poll watching.” Some states don’t actually allow “poll watching.” That’s when they organize to do something else that’s, legally, more acceptable.

But you’re right about using the Republicans or Tea Party. Also, check to see if “True the Vote” is in the area.

That was my exact thought. It is not the polls that need watching so much as the vote counters.

That is probably the best suggestion yet. I work every election. It is a long day, but well worth it.

I've been a poll watcher in PA for years, {won't go to a school, can't carry}.

Just contact your pubbie headquarters and volunteer, they will tell you what you need to do.

I attended a Women For Mitt rally in Denver last week and they were actively looking for poll watchers.

They said to go here to sign up: www.mittromney.com/orca

(I did.)

You’re welcome - hope it helps. I know True the Vote is doing a lot to make sure the Left doesn’t get away with anything - though they’ll certainly try. I don’t know whether they’re organizing any poll-watching, though.
