Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.

The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz – I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.

Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.

Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.

The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.

I never, ever get my fill of TEX-MEX. I’m going to make certain I get a lot of Tex-Mex in June. No more 13 day steriod pacs prior to June. That one did NO GOOD. I’m bent over and bloated in every dang picture. NEVER again. Can barely wait to complain to my doctor on Wednesday...lol.

((((LUVW)))) You’re so sweet and kind to me. Never again on that steroid pac. It was 13 days of misery with side effects and it didn’t help my back at all, unlike the 6 day pac, with no side effects.

I’d better get some sleep. DrO is awfully sick. Very congested. He even took antibiotics tonight! LOL. I hope it’s nothing I might have brought home with me. (It’s NOT).

Tex Mex is kinda blah but a staple.
I had real Mexican tacos today.
Chopped beef with lettuce tomato onions and cilantro, twist of lime and some smokin hot salsa verde on a soft tortilla.

Don't think I'm going to do that again. That was a lot of work last time, and ate into my socializing time.

M.D.'s are the worst patients imaginable! At least he's taking antibiotics! He'll get better now...lol. No flu shot. He knows I have my appointment with my doctor tomorrow and that I want to drag him with me, so I'm anticipating an immediate uptick in his recovery by tomorrow morning.... I so pray. He's several years older, (but always in excellent health) so I've been scared.
