So true. They key phrase seems to be “fall to coveting”.

Once fallen, they realize that nothing changes, there are still lots of people with money and goods, and lots without.

The only difference is that the ones who do have “stuff” have something in common...usually an inner party membership.

That is why, when I hear people who lived in the Soviet Union speak with anger and fear about things they see in our country because they are reminded of what they left behind...I listen closely.

Wow. You’d almost think the mainstream press was biased or something.

"You know, I don't look at my pension. It's not as big as yours, so it — it doesn't take as long,"

Hey Zero, let's play some more of this little game:

"You know, I don't look at my pension resume. It's not as big as yours, so it — it doesn't take as long,"
"You know, I don't look at my pension experience. It's not as big as yours, so it — it doesn't take as long,"
"You know, I don't look at my pension accomplishments.. It's not as big as yours, so it — it doesn't take as long,"

I think you are probably wrong..There were many merchants, business people..that didn't gain their wealth while dealing in slaves, and "hitting people".

The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.

Do you really understand the camel passing thru the "eye of the needle" passage?

Romney should’ve said something like, “I admit to being wealthy. And I, UNlike the more-wealthy Kennedy family, earned it legally.”

first Romney should run away from the money he has made, I wish I had that money but best of luck to him , he did well.
Also why the GOP will not go after this corrupt biased media is beyond me, forget the Peggy Noonan and Charles stuffy bore, fight the media and mention them, name names and call them out

Obama made a few million off his book and then became very wealthy while president. Wealthy enough to buy a 35 million dollar home which he couldn’t afford prior to his term in the Whitehouse. I’d like to know where that money came from.

I imagine more folks than not, who have 401K or mutual fund, have some amount invested in Emerging Markets. I know I did, several years ago, and that money has quadrupled. Also invest in energy, oil & gas, can’t beat ‘em so you might as well join ‘em. Same with health fund shares. :)

I also read that the reporters were all drunk. Given booze in their gift swag bags.

Looks like the Romney tax return nonsense isn't going to go away. Buzzfeed.com, which I believe is a left-leaning site, has a post at their site with blurred images of what appear to be tax returns and the title "One Of Your Presidential Candidates Isn't Being Honest With You". They link to a site with the URL "octsurprise.com", so it looks like the Obama team will be dropping this on 10/22.

“This allows Obama to suspend the Constitution,”

The Constitution is already dead for all intensive proposes. What you imagain is “the president” just going out of the ordary and assuming an unprecedented roll.

A roll he will have a very hard time enforcing without state & local cooperation(IE surrendering). If there are riots they will be in leftist areas against primary other leftist.(who cares?) The point is those leftist governments that are overwhelmed by their own lawless mob of a population will gladly surrender their power & authority to Obama to somehow do what they “cant” or wont for themselves.

I guess the real problem is people have this image in their head(created by Hollywood movie) that the president has all theses awesome domestic powers, so many will surrender and even ask Obama to take over from their duely elected State & local leaders. The trouble is Obama (unlike their State & local leaders) wont have a clue what to do.

More bipolar depressing behavior from the press. It’s not surprizing to see such behavior from information whores who do not check the facts and only repeat what they are told by thugs they meet at dinner parties.

IF Bob Woodward is a fraction of the investigative reporter he thinks he is, he needs to look into the trust fund Obama’s maternal great-grandfather left when Obama was 10 years old.
