Since the Republicans depend more on getting out the vote on election day, I think many won't be able because of the aftermath.
What do you think?
I think you are just looking for a reason to worry.
People talk about crawling across broken glass to vote against someone they don’t like. Some folk may actually get that chance - I don’t think many though.
The exact opposite.
My guess is urban vote suppression would be more likely, thereby hurting the big Zip. Unfortunately, it might provide an excuse for him to exercise more unconstitutional Executive Powers.
Election day is a week and a half away, it may impact some trick-or-treater’s on Halloween though.
The exact opposite.
True that. A low voter turnout in NYC can only help
Romney.
Agree. Exact opposite and Axelrod said as much.
Dems are lazy losers. Bad weather they’ll stay in.
I think Republicans “that depend more on getting out the vote on election day” is what helps Obama.
Early voting is early voting. You either go with the flow or you lose.
Most of these states, including mine, are blue states. I don’t care if they can vote.
Besides voting is over a week away. Things will be fine by then.
Well said!
It’s just going to provide a scapegoat for BO’s trouncing in nine days.
The Rats will say the storm kept their side from getting to the polls and disenfranchised them.
REDO! Set another election date that is sunny!
New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts— which one of those was going to vote Romney...?
I believe there are more patriotic Americans looking for “hope & change” sans Obama. A storm would not stop me from casting my vote for Romney/Paul.
It’s going to take more than a glorified thunderstorm to keep Republicans home.
Stop being a defeatist.
The most motivated to vote will do so whatever it takes and those that want Obama gone have more motivation to see him go than do those who want him to stay.
How about this: New York City and its 8 million Obama votes are washed away leaving upstate and Western New York State to Romney voters. I know, I know, but one can dream ...
I voted more than two weeks ago. There is no election day. It's called "Election Period" and it's been happening for weeks in several states.
I think you have it bass ackwards. Most Repubs have been chomping at the bit for months to throw out this POS and will not be stymied by a few downed trees or lack of power.
RATS, meanwhile, even on a good day have to be poked and prodded to get out of the rack to vote. That’s why the Dems don’t like rain on election day. Too easy to roll over and go back to sleep.
