See you and others making fun of McCain never give him credit for his investment of all of his political capital in campaign finance reform.

Now maybe you don’t care about such things and goodness knows leading up to the choice between him and Obama, dear Lord what better cause to promote than that which so worried the American people....again, campaign finance reform?

I sleep better every night knowing McCain and that other guy no longer a senator got that thing passed and y’all need to give him credit for this great legislative feat for which he will go down in history.

The Maverick, my man, the Maverick speaks.

And we should all shut up and listen cause this magician...well he got us campaign finance reform.

Y’all should be grateful.

“Y’all should be grateful.”

Yeah, we should be grateful for Obammmy and how we shouldn’t fear him, right?

I’m assuming poster Fishtalk is doing a sarcasm thing. I’ve lost interested in flagging my irony, myself, although it can get confusing in real life. The tipoff is the emphasis on campaign-finance “reform,” imo. The other name, btw, is “Feingold.”

My respect for John McCain’s endurance as a POW is unaffected by anything else he has said and done. My father knew John McCain, when he knew anyone but immediate family; now it’s a victory if he recognizes a person as someone he once knew. I expect that if Sen. McCain’s family were honest, he’s in about the same shape.

Right now as we speak, McCain is reaping what he has sown here in Arizona. All the nice things he and Jon Kyl said when approving a crypto-radical as Surgeon General (Rich Carmona) are being used in an ad by Carmona now. The ad actually makes it sound like they are backing him for the senate! Carmona was hand-picked by Obama to challenge for a Republican senate seat to replace Kyl. And they’ve both had to come out and declare that they are not supporting Carmona for Senate. Bipartisan deeds by Republicans never go unpunished. And the ad is still running, btw. I saw it again last night.
