McCain: Obama Might Be Conducting ‘Massive Cover-Up’ With Libya Attack
Washington Local CBS ^ | October 29, 2012

Sen. John McCain claims the Obama administration might be conducting a “massive cover-up” with the deadly terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

On CBS News’ “Face the Nation” Sunday, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee said President Obama has been incompetent with the way he has been handling the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attack.

“I don’t know if it’s either a cover-up or the worst kind of incompetence, which doesn’t qualify the president as commander in chief,” McCain said.

I couldn’t agree with you more. He knows the game and he’s playing it, again.

Benghazi is worse than Iran Contra.
Benghazi is worse than DESERT ONE.
Benghazi is worse than Watergate.
Benghazi is way worse than all of these combined.

The real story is why Obama and Hillary have been sticking their noses, with our military, into the business of Libya, Egypt and Syria. I just read on another post about Obama’s buddies making big money on the mess in Iraq. Could it be that Obama and Hillary set fire to the Middle East so they could make money from rebuilding it? Man......I dislike those two Democrat grifters, but if they did all this to enrich themselves and their Democrat buddies.......that would be Nuremberg, crimes against humanity stuff. Lord, help us.

I agree. And seeing McCain's mug will remind many 2008 Obama voters of their remorse about what they did.

Take a deep breath yourself then shove it.

I’m not a conservative of convenience like some of you seem to be so you can waste your oh so superior breath on someone who actually cares what you think.

Are there two McCain’s???

Earlier in the interview he says that Zippy is fine as CIC. Later he says he’s covering up Benghazi. How do you reconcile those statements?

I think Romney has gotten McCain to go out there and say just enough to put the thought in remaining undecideds minds that Obama is incompetent, without the Romney campaign actually doing a lot themselves.

Romney feels like he is ahead, he isn’t in a “prevent defense” per se, but he is in a zone defense.

Maybe nutty McCain is going to prove a little useful after all, in a small way.

It's quite simple. I ignore the first and focus on the second. :-)

What’s “superior” about my post? And maybe Obama is having a bad effect on your language - I remember you as being more of a gentleman than your own post would indicate.

I think it’s pragmatic. We have to learn to let go of disagreements and disappointments in the past and agree on what we can agree on. Obviously, right now, McCain has had a change of heart, and we need to encourage that and not shoot him down just because he was lousy before.

Shut up, McLame! This is YOUR fault! If you didn’t want to beat “The First Black President”, you should have let someone else win the primary! You probably wouldn’t have wanted to beat “The First Woman President”, either! Just go away!

He was also cheerleading for us to get involved in Libya’s internal mess. Combine that with his defense of the muslim brotherhood and I think its wise to suspect his motives now.

We all have issues with McLame, but I am certain that if he were Commander in Chief he would not have let the Ambassador and those SEALs die without trying to get help to them.
