they attend fusion meetings where during the day they discuss with state and local law enforcement how to put down the locals when the revolution starts and at night they screw prostitutes and get completely inebriated on the taxpayer dollar.

I speak from post-Katrina experience...a van full of Baptist church ladies,a cell phone and a pot and spoons and they can HANDLE ANYTHING! I firmly believe that. Their organizational network and can-do determination is epic! God Bless em. Even sitting in lines for gas there were Baptists going car to car with cold water. They fed folks`brought free clothing, cut hair, supplied laundry trucks, then listened and prayed with you. Let`em in and life improves immediately!

If Dubya was still in the White House... If I remember correctly, Bush had all the aid trucks etc lined up and ready to enter N/O prior to Katrina arriving.
Yes he did but they could not enter the city until the governor (Democrat) and mayor (Democrat) gave the OK ... which they did not give it for days . Just like now where Bloomberg is saying no to National Guards in NYC (National Guard does not just patrol the streets , they have all kinds of equipment to clear them and they are really good at being able to deliver things to hard hit areas).
All this mess you are seeing is because of stupid democrats , their love of red tape , their love of trying to micromanage everyone else . What you are seeing is they know they have money coming for disaster relief but they want to funnel that money to their own union goons .
Americans need to watch and pay close attention . You need to always have extra food and water and a little bit of cash always stashed away . Your life does count on this , especially if you live in blue areas .

Oh, my. I hadn’t even thought that far ahead. But, of course, you are quite right about that.

That’s the problem. It’s white “folks” who need help. Not worth reporting because it doesn’t fit inside their racism box.

You should send your story to Fox News. Maybe they will cover it.

Yeah, you’re probably right. After all, Walmart is nonunion. It’s my understanding that NJ union utility crews ran off some nonunion crews who had driven all the way from Alabama to help out. How stupid was that? Wonder where little tubby was when this went down?

Just remember, these are the same buffoons that want to control our health care..they can’t even pass out water right yet they think they can manage the health care system..boy are we screwed

A competent solution would have involved mobilizing Army and National Guard support units, which could have used their ready supplies, stores, and equipment immediately, and then replaced used-up stuff at leisure.Great post. Where was the wargaming for this happening? The planning off that wargaming? Sandy gave several days warning. That is sufficient time to get equipment and personnel from any National Guard facility in the lower 48. Instead, several days AFTER Sandy, they still are slow to react.

#1- I’m sorry Sandy happened.
#2- I’m happy Sandy happened.
I pray FEMA will be exposed for what they truly are. Maybe NYC and NJ will be able to do that. It’s starting already.
Hopefully Romney will look into FEMA and get rid of them completely.

“Sheesh. Theres water everywhere there. Boil it.”
No electricity, no fuel. But I get your point: they could strain pond water through cloth and add 1/4 tsp bleach per gallon. It won’t be delicious and it sure ain’t perrier, but it’s better than dying of thirst.

Hey, Im sure the presidents photo op will more than make up for not having any water. Wish I was good at photoshop or drawing cartoons.
Have a nice shot of Air Force One flying off and a throng of people looking up with a "We will leave no one behind," coming from the plane and one of the mass of people on the ground saying, "Only four people got left behind in Benghazi."

They should call Wal-Mart. I'm sure they have stock and will provide.
Above is NOT intended to be humorous. Wal-Mart takes immediate action on news of a storm like this, and pre-stages additional stocks of storm supplies in close proximity (but not directly in) the impact area. I read a story about the response of Wal-Mart (and Home Depot, and a few others) by comparison the FEMA in the response to Katrina in the Gulfport/Biloxi area. Wal-Mart was, for a large chunk of time, the ONLY place that victims and rescue workers could get supplied.
