I'm keeping the supplies stashed because we have a shortage of union goons to move them ... if I let the stuff loose, they might be used to help prepare unhealthy 24 ounce soft drinks.

Nagin had school busses, Bloomy had generators.

Those generators can’t be used for the disaster victims; Bloomberg probably has them promised as patronage gifts to different people who he owes favors to.

Bloomberg and New York city might be fully liable for expenses incurred by Marathon organizers and runners. Most of them had arrived, from all over the world, thanks to assurance that the race was on.
I'd say that a Class Action Suit ... will happen.

Everyone in the MSM should make a pilgrimage to Texas get on their knees and kiss GW Bush’s A## and beg forgiveness for how they treated him after Katrina. The epic amount of pure fail from the libtards running the City, State and Federal response to this disaster is epic.

I heard all that stuff is privately owned. Bloomberg can’t touch it.

The way Bush was treated was criminal. ALL the blame was put on him.
Here’s how it works. When there’s a disaster, the media looks for the nearest Republican, and then dumps a heap of $hit on him.

The school buses were all owned by a private company and by the time anyone figured out they needed them, the buses were already flooded. Probably the generators are privately owned as well. At least the generators aren’t underwater.

Same as with truck crews in Jersey: the loyalty of the union thugs is solely to the union, not to their neighbors, their state or their nation.
Despicable.

The generators, food and water are private property, not city property. Until someone with the owner’s authority authorizes it, the city has no right to take it.
That said, I’m disappointed that the NY Road Runners Club or whoever is owner has not yet offered it.

Like the window washers say, We feel your pane.
Plans are being formulated, formulae being planned, meetings held and holdings met...we’ll get back to you but not quite yet.
Meanwhile, no large sugar drink or public cigarette, your throat is dry, your feet are wet...we’ll get back to you but not quite yet.
If you’d join the union and pay your dues, you’ll get a blanket and dry shoes, you’ll get a heater warm and bright for your vote if it’s right and we’ll have to vett....we’ll get back to you but not quite yet.

The school buses were all owned by a private company and by the time anyone figured out they needed them, the buses were already flooded. The flooding we had in Port Jervis back in '05. This area is where the school busses are parked. Unlike New Orleans, 24 hours before this area was under water, the school district's transportation supervisor called in the drivers and mechanics to
MOVE the busses to higher ground. No rocket science needed here.

Hundreds of runners from the marathon ran to hand out help, while thousands of others had a run any way run.
I only saw a report about the runners that helped on much of the news so far.
