AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

The theory is that with Obama at the helm for the next four years, enough damage will then be done for a real candidate in 2016.

That's what some "conservatives" said in 2012 about McCain. Many of them stayed home or actually voted Obama, thinking that in another 4 years it would all be made right . . .

I went to the garage, got my 32" Louisville Slugger and went back after the bigger kid. Beat the living shit crap out of him. Never had a problem with him, again.

I also wish Hannity would pipe down and let his guests speak sometimes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don’t dislike Hannity, and I am glad he has radio & TV progs, but I find him unlistenable for many reasons-—even his sing-song cadence grates on me. I rarely listen to him on radio, except election time, and I only DVR him if he has a big get.
I stopped watching TV news several years ago, except during a crisis. Since we are in the middle of the Benghazi “crisis” since Sept, I have been DVRing a lot of Fox news progs forthe last 2 months. Mostly, this experience has only reinforced why I stopped watching them.
Interesting! Do they do a background check to see who you voted for in the last election or do they take your word for it? LOL! I can see Sodomite tea party crasher occupy types infiltrating the it.
I woke up much better today than I was yesterday. Why should I be depressed. I'm in the “I can't wait for the country to fall apart mood”. It sounds demented but this has helped me get on with my life. :)
So Romney is to blame for the ignorance of people who couldn’t take time out of their lives in the past 4 years to see why their lives suck? Sounds like a liberal, blame someone else.
Why all the MSM calls for bi-partisanship now? Because without the pubbies on board, they won't have them to blame when it all crashes down. And it will crash down. Ride it out. The smartest move is not to play.
The pubbies will go along with this because they are bought & paid for by the elites. When you have a corrupt two party system the taxpayers will always lose.
I am 74 years old and I remember when we were really free. I’ve watched as we have, incrementally, been nudged into a socialist state.
After this election, I believe we have moved from socialism into a Marxist style state. It isn’t hard to see how we got there, after all, obama is the equivalent of a ‘Benevolent Marxist’ but I believe what could follow is going to get much worse.
First stage: Benevolent Marxist... Free health care, free food, free housing assigned by the State. (filling the hands of the dependent’s on the State)
Second stage: Benevolent Dictator. As with FDR, congress will determine he needs a third term because the country is in the state of chaos blaming republicans that have blocked progressive measures. FDR failed for a forth term but obama wouldn’t because of our surpressed, weak, state dependent population.
Final stage: The word ‘benevolent’ will be finally be eliminated.
I know this is a dismal look at what could be in the future but I never believed it would get as far as it has already...I thought we had some strong members in the republican party we elected in 2010 but now they are saying, ‘just wait until 2014, we’ll get it all back’, like we waited for four long, torturous years for 2012?
If the country as we know it is still here in 2014. The work could still have been done with Mitt as President. Good luck with hussein in the WH.
Well, we were told they would not vote for Romney and I guess they stuck to their word. The theory is that with Obama at the helm for the next four years, enough damage will then be done for a real candidate in 2016.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

I find that theory insane. They haven’t truly calculated the damage Obama can do in the next 4 years. Their theory suggests the more damage, the better. The other option that is more realistic IMO-—point of no return. This could easily happen in a number of ways.

And I don’t look at 2016 as a given either. What do we say about the RINOs -— snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hypothetically, if you were to consider leaving the country, what 3 countries would be on your list?

“its about the country and the direction it will take the next 4 years”

Exactly. It’s so freaking simple. Do you want an Anti-American marxist, communist, muslim sympathizer or a great man like Romney who loves this country.

Read that point also, and it stuck with me.

Also during that time, the Dems were already targeting Romney, as the presumed GOP candidate, with anti-Romney commercials-—particularly in Ohio. They had a big head start.
