From Kelley to Petraeus, It Doesn't Add Up
US News ^ | November 13, 2012 | Paul D. Shinkman

An FBI agent carries out a computer after a search of the home of Paula Broadwell in Charlotte, N.C.

The evidence of an affair that forced CIA Director David Petraeus to resign from his position still leaves many unknowns, experts say, including some fundamental questions about the investigation itself.

It remains uncertain why the FBI began investigating the E-mails sent to Jill Kelley, a social liaison volunteer at a Tampa base where Petraeus was stationed as an Army general, and whose connections with Petraeus' alleged mistress and family is not yet clear, according to a Reuters report.

"I'm a little surprised that they would have opened a case on this," says a retired senior FBI employee, with years of experience with these kinds of investigations. "I wonder if there was something else in the original E-mail that raised some kind of concern."

The FBI frequently gets allegations regarding high profile officials, says the source, who asked to remain anonymous due to his affiliation with the FBI. About 90 percent of them are unfounded.

It would require clear evidence of serious harassment for the FBI to begin an investigation for a low-profile person such as Kelley.

"It must have threatened death or something like that," the source tells U.S. News. "I don't understand … what was so heinous to start a federal investigation."

The FBI and Justice Department have not yet explained the connection between Kelley and Paula Broadwell, and specifically what prompted the investigation. The bureau employs behavioral scientists to analyze threatening E-mails to determine if there is any immediate threat, and whether the sender is willing to act upon it.

My wife and I had quite a hoot watching that last night. Crime scene photographers and everything. This was the best episode yet of Obama-CSI. Who does Obama have writing this stuff for him. Now here's the scene where we pretend to be the FBI, watch this...

Occam's razor (also written as Ockham's razor, Latin lex parsimoniae) is the law of parsimony, economy, or succinctness. It is a principle stating that among competing hypotheses, the one that makes the fewest assumptions should be selected.

The simplest hypothesis requiring the fewest assumptions is that the anti-military, anti-American thug in our White House had General Petraeus taken down for political reasons or for revenge. Petraeus was clearly in the wrong morally, but there isn't even the slightest indication that his conduct warranted either an FBI investigation or a demand for his resignation. If Clinton's perjury about adultery did not justify resignation, then Petraeus' honesty about the same topic does not justify a forced resignation.

Well if the numbers don’t add up, maybe everyone is trying to add the wrong numbers.

Paula Broadwells’ father said this is not true and there is way more than meets the eye here. He said wait till everybody finds out the real truth. I hope the poor guy doesn’t wind up in an accident.

I agree. Had to discredit and take down Petraeus to cover for Bengazi.

Here is an equation that does add up.

Fact One:

1) Only the POTUS can authorize a CBA (cross border authority) command for a rescue mission in a foreign nation.

Plus Fact Two:

2) No rescue mission was attempted.

Equals Fact Three:

3) 0bama turned his back on 41 State Dept. and CIA employees refusing to issue a CBA command and went to bed so he could go to Las Vegas the next day.

This is an 0bama HIT on Petraeus, using the FBI to do it. Who heads the FBI? Robert Mueller, the quintessential leftist HACK. How dare he stoop this low, assisting 0bama in his quest to cover-up Benghazi and DESTROY the credibility of whistleblowers. Where's Hillary? SHE decides SHE'S not going to testify? THAT'S CONGRESS' DECISION, NOT HERS!!! If the public Benghazi hearings are a 'dog and pony' show with no decisive punishment, not even for LIAR Susan Rice, it's over folks.

Reverse military coup, any one?

The FBI agents raid with big computer monitor is just that, shows, re Benghazi.

Smokescreens thrown out by this lawless regime, like the youtube producer taken into custody re Benghazi.

All these talks about sex scandal and such, did not explain one bit about a dead ambassador and three other Americans.

The article has a link to a story I find rather odd and haven't heard reported before.

Broadwell's North Carolina driver's license was recently found in a D.C. park and the FBI was notified. How recently the article doesn't say.

Presumably there's a reasonable explanation for Broadwell being in D.C. But, the odder thing to me is how she "lost" her driver's license...not her purse, not her wallet, just her driver's license sitting there all by itself, apparently to be discovered by a passing jogger.

Her license was found in Chandry Levy Park.
She is either missing or this was a message to
her to shut up or else she will be chicagocided.
