(CNSNews.com) – FBI protocol determined when the president of the United States would be told that his director of the Central Intelligence Agency was engaged in an adulterous affair, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters on Tuesday.
Any response that starts off with "my understanding" means I need wiggle room, so when you find out I'm either lying or misrepresenting the facts, I can say I was misinformed. He's lying.

The President told someone to conduct an investigation into what occurred in Libya according to The President himself. This investigation according to The President is a top priority. I assume the agency conducting the investigation was the FBI. In the course this investigation the Director of the FBI is informed that a principal in the Libya investigation is under investigation and is being interviewed and that potential top secret information has hacked. No one tells The President.

FBI Protocol #1 shall not be violated — “protect Obama at all costs”
The only way I believe this is if Obama is the target of the investigation, but I’m not going to get my hopes up with that one.
