Obama To GOP On Susan Rice: "If They Want To Go After Somebody, They Should Go After Me"
Real Clear Politics ^ | 11/14/12 | staff

"As I said before, she made an appearance at the request of the White House in which she gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her. If Senator McCain and Senator Graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me. And I'm happy to have that discussion with them. But for them to go after the U.N. ambassador who had nothing to do with Benghazi, and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and besmirch her reputation is outrageous," President Obama said at a press conference on Wednesday.

I think we need to stop underestimating Obama. He knows how to protect himself and he knows that the repubs in Congress are too chicken to take him on. My only hope is that his arrogance will be his blind spot.

Something to e-mail to every talking head, every Senator and every House rep.

--------------------------------------------------------

Fact One:

1) Only the POTUS can authorize a CBA (cross border authority) command for a rescue mission in a foreign nation.

Plus Fact Two:

2) No rescue mission was attempted.

Equals Fact Three:

3) 0bama turned his back on 41 State Dept. and CIA employees refusing to issue a CBA command and went to bed so he could go to Las Vegas the next day.

Let’s hope the R party leadership is listening

You're dreaming, my friend, if you think the current Republican leaders in the House and Senate are going to go after obama -- at least in any effective, sustained sense. They are scared senseless at best (more likely incompetent) to effectively challenge the mulatto-Marxist-Muslim president ... and he knows it!

The Republicans don’t need to take on Obama, all they need to do is question Susan Rice in very great detail about where she got her information, whether or not the detailed statement was in writing, who wrote it and whether she vetted the information with anyone before proceeding to lie over and over and over again, five times, on five different TV shows.

Then they need to ask if she would handle the situation differently if she was aware that the story she was telling was not true. Does the country really want a will accomplice to a lying administration? I think not.

Don’t forget how he and Hillary and the rest of the thugs running our country were watching it as it happened and did nothing. This is the heart of the scandal and must not be forgotten.

Obama got what he wanted—a second term. Now let’s see if he wants what he got. I predict that the next four years (if he lasts that long) are going to be miserable for him.

If you notice, there’s almost no appearances by Hillary Clinton on this episode. Susan Rice carries a massive amount of interview time on it. She was the only semi-believable person of the entire group....which is sad to say. And after you finish all her comments...you realize there’s various problems with the story.

Oh, they will try this indirect approach. I think that Rice has already rehearsed the answers that she will give and will provide full cover for her political overlords. House leaders had any guts at all they would demand that Hillary testify immediately and request that the President also meet with Congress to discuss the subject.

Okay. We object to your decision to appoint her as Secretary of State. You are stupid for doing it. That was easy.

I think they used her because she didn't know anything about it, which means she couldn't slip up and give something away under questioning. All she knows is what's in the script, so that's all she can tell them.

Oh it is and will be, but whatever someone throws at him will be coming at US as well.

I will give you some of today’s comments by Graham and McCain. The President lied at his press conference today. You should have heard Mark Levin today (Nov 14th) nail down his lies. I am sure Obama’s press conference lies laid down a solid case for impeachment. And, what was said today, tells me the train has left the station:

Sen. Lindsey Graham said shortly after Obama’s news conference that “Somebody has got to start paying a price around this place,” said Graham. “I don’t think she deserves to be promoted. There are a lot of qualified people in this country the president could pick, but I am dead-set on making sure we don’t promote anybody that was an essential player in the Benghazi debacle.” He added that he has “no intention of promoting anyone who is up to their eyeballs in the Benghazi debacle.”

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the top GOP senator on the Armed Services Committee, responded to Obama by immediately going on to the Senate floor to ask for the creation of a select committee to investigate events in Benghazi and to accuse the president of missing the point in accusing critics of “picking on” Rice. added: “We owe the American people and the families of the murdered Americans a full and complete explanation, which for two months the President has failed to deliver.” He also said, “My judgment at this time is that four Americans were killed, and the information that our U.N. ambassador conveyed was clearly false,” McCain, told reporters at a Capitol Hill news conference. “There was overwhelming evidence that it was completely false. And she should have known what the situation and circumstances were and not tell the world on all Sunday morning talk shows.”

“Those talking point that the ambassador used did not come from the CIA. They come from the White House. Who in the White House – was it the president of the United States? Was it one of his people? – who was it who gave her talking points that clearly indicated something for which there was no basis in fact?” McCain said.

“I will do everything in my power to block her from being the United States Secretary of State,” McCain said of Rice on Fox News. “She has proven that she either doesn’t understand or she is not willing to accept evidence on its face. There is no doubt five days later what this attack was.”

Don’t be discouraged my FRiend, the fight is on. There is criminal negligence in the Benghazi incident. The crime was committed against the families who lost their sons in Benghazi. And the coverup is worse than Watergate.

Finally, Paul Krantz, Paula Broadwell’s father, told the New York Daily News at his home in Bismarck, N.D., that there is much more to the story of her relationship with Gen. David Petraeus. “This is about something else entirely, and the truth will come out,” he said. “There is a lot more that is going to come out…You wait and see. There’s a lot more here than meets the eye,”
Krantz said.

Why? Because you’re a bigger girl then Rice?
