CNN: PETRAEUS TO TESTIFY HE KNEW LIBYA WAS TERRORISM 'ALMOST IMMEDIATELY'
Breitbart ^

Posted on 11/15/2012 4:29:22 PM PST by hole_n_one

Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew "almost immediately" that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

Sounds like the GEN might out Clapper as the bumbling gatekeeper for the White House.

My guess is P4 never spoke to the kenyan directly about anything. That is his MO to maintain deniability. Going to be tough to pin anything on his skinny behind if he is always in the Residence watching ESPN and delegating ALL decisions to others.

I do not trust anyone who works for Obama, first off. This guy did not resign after Benghazi, if he were very upset about happened he would have.

I would also think then that you wouldn't trust a Rat congressman from Maryland who leaked confidential information about supposedly what Petraeus said at a closed hearing, right??

Petraeus wrote/co-wrote the Army field manual, IIRC, among his other kudos.

I have a hunch that he engaged in that time-honored tradition of flirting shamelessly that is so common in military relationships. It’s akin to that humor that drives you to be ready to deck someone or hide someone’s CAC card.

It’s an intellectual mistress type of thing.

I think all the emails are created, based on a couple of exchanges. Holder and 0bama and Jarrett would do that for sh!ts and giggles, making a big deal out of it. All the while....hiding their own foreign affairs and mile-high orgies, of course.

After all, when even birth certificates are created and images of people badly photoshopped made to appear real, anything can pop up out of thin air. Or...disappear.

"My guess is Petraeus isn’t so damaged "

Yep, He's an actual expert in clan/nation building. He could get a job at the UN, if they were actually interested in making the world a Better PlaceTM

The WH will say they knew it was a terrorist ‘act’ as well and Obama stated that it was a terrorist act right after it happened ... yada yada. These liberals will redefine words and history to suit their purposes. Our guys need to call them on it.

That’s what I’m wondering. It depends on who is in the meeting. Some hotdog like Gowdy or King would be hard to restrain.

Maybe there’s still hope that Petraeus and perhaps others will crawl out of the Obama administration rat’s nest and start telling the truth.

I really fear for this guys life except by now I would hope he has made a video and several copies to protect himself.

This is what happens when you work for a boss who has certain powers over you.

I'm sure his desire to tell THE WHOLE TRUTH about Libya is why he truly resigned.

This is about 0BAMA. Benghazi = dereliction of duty & aiding and abetting the enemy = 0BAMA. F&F Libya ->Turkey->Syria->Iran->Gaza

Whatever Petraeus says is going to be rehearsed, stage managed and parsed by lawyers. It will not be the truth.

The then if Petraeus says that Obama issued the order to stand down, you will think that it's rehearsed, staged, managed and parsed?

So he lied in the beginning. If he wants to redeem any of his compromised reputation, he needs to go 100% truth, no matter what the cost to him.
It certainly will be less price that those men abandoned in Benghazi paid.

Interesting “nuance”, but in the general meaning of acting in a weaselly manner, I think it is close enough.

I saw an interview today, where someone who knew Petreaus was addressing his actions. The person who knew him seemed to think he was in some ways an honorable man. He thought that now Petreaus had stepped down, he might try to make up for his mistakes by coming clean and telling all.

If he was blackmailed and fired anyway, against an agreement, ouch.

What this is proving without a shadow of a doubt, is why you don’t expose yourself to blackmail.

The guy really screwed up. Here’s to hoping he comes clean and spills his guts. He may yet do more service for this nation than he has to this point.

"Others will come forward if given immunity (if they don’t run into sharp-tipped umbrellas laced with polonium while canoeing in the creek in Ft. Marcy Park at night)."

Petraeus probably should avoid riding in a jeep. A 4 star G, who poed a president decades ago found out the hard way, who wins an argument with a president.

U.S. General George S. Patton acknowledges the cheers of thousands during a parade through downtown Los Angeles, California, on June 9, 1945. Shortly thereafter, Patton returned to Germany and controversy, as he advocated the employment of ex-Nazis in administrative positions in Bavaria; he was relieved of command of the 3rd Army and died of injuries from a traffic accident in December, after his return home. Joe Rosenthal's famous Iwo Jima flag-raising photograph is visible on the war bonds billboard.

My hunch is the finger points to Clapper, Donilon, ... and Brennan.

Leaving aside that all of DC is one big rumor-mongering town and that hardly anyone can keep a confidence, I thought the hearing had been moved off of Capitol Hill to an ‘undisclosed location?’

This is what is known as a “tease”....Petraeus might say that...with tons of qualifications....but there is no damn way he will thrown Obamugabe under the bus.

Obamugabe will never be judged to have done anything wrong.

He is the Messiah.
