Grover Norquist: 'We Are About to Have a Tea Party Second Wave that Will Dwarf the First Wave'
Fox Nation ^

Americans for Tax Reform Chief Grover Norquist predicts a huge new wave of the Tea Party is coming. The Victoria Taft Show 11/29/2012 We are about to have a Tea Party second wave that will dwarf the first wave and that is because while 'spend too much' brought the Tea Party into existence, we're about to walk into 'spend too much, regulate too much, and tax too much, all together. It's going to be a perfect storm of annoying government behavior, which is devastating to the economy, and I think the small business community which is particularly hit by Obama's tax increases are going to lead the fight bigger, stronger, tougher than the last Tea Party.

And, surprise!

In four years, the Republicans will respond with the nomination of... yet another Milquetoast, lukewarm, middle-of-the-road Republicrat.

On the presidential level the tea party was as good as nonexistent. They couldn’t get a good conservative candidate fielded, let alone to win the nomination, and then of course Romney lost to Barry.

Too late now, the damage is done. Where were they before the Dick Tater won a second term? Not once did I see an article with anything to do with the Tea Party. The Press was saying they were dead and they didn’t even respond to that.

Uh huh. I never really knew who or what Grover Norquist was all about...until I read an article about him yesterday.

The last thing we and/or the Tea Party folks need is someone like him hijacking the mantle. Vigilance.

“So you are saying the marxists can take over the Dem party but conservatives are too pansy to take control of the GOP? We won’t win anything with that attitude. Is that what you want?”

I’ve been a life-long member of the GOP, and I have come to hate it with a passion because it is run by people who are not the least bit Conservative. I realize that we have a two-party system and that third parties have never been successful. It is also equally true that the “conservatives” have never been able to take control of the GOP. So just what would you suggest we do that will work? I am all ears!

The truth is most of the Tea Party congresscritters that were
sent in 2010 have already been turned by Bonehead and Cantor
and the DC elites.
We send them, they turn them.
Trent Lott was right. “You Can’t change Washington”

Or, as Grover would rather refer to it, a jihad.

The fact that the media gives this islamic wolf in sheeps’ clothing credence says enough about the state of the GOP.

I prefer the following from Robert Spencer:

as an alternative to Norquist’s toxic cocktail of No Taxes Plus Collaboration with Islamic Supremacists, a genuinely pro-freedom tax pledge. Call it the Robert Spencer Tax Pledge. Here it is: “I solemnly pledge to oppose new tax increases, to work to cut existing tax rates, and to oppose Muslim Brotherhood infiltration in our government and the concomitant dismantling of our resistance to the jihad and Islamic supremacism.”

“Likewise, the news and entertainment media. Let Democrats define what is information, and what is important, and we will remain behind the curve slipping farther and farther behind. You can’t let your enemies define the truth to your kids over decades without cost.”

I agree. Republicans have to fight on two fronts—the Democrat party and the misinformation from the media. It doesn’t matter who runs if they can be defined by the liberals.

I concur, the GOP is not worth saving at this point. It’s corrupt and beyond repair.

Forming a third party which might eventually replace the GOP will not occur in time to save the country.

The wheels are coming off, question is how long before it happens?

ONLY if we split from the GOP.

Funny how the newbies want to split apart the conservative movement. I wonder what your real deal is.

I have been a registered Republican for over 51 years.

I am ready to change my registration. I am disgusted with the Republicans and their lack of a spine over a number of things, but the voter fraud put me over the edge of the table.

Does anyone know where I can contact the Tea Party people in the Reno, Nevada, area?

Thanks.

IMO:

Voter Fraud. As much as they deemed necessary. Early voting told them what they needed to know.

Wait till gas prices get to 8 dollars a gallon, Taxes hit everyone and inflation cuts into the people on the Dole. Wait for the 10 dollar Big Mac! Then, and only then, when Terrorists start to blow up US cities—corruption sweeps the land—only then will the Sheeple remember what they have lost—race bating and class warfare and blame Evil Rich People and George Bush will only go so far. We are one scandal from turning the tide.
