Thanks for the laugh. It’s the best Gore graphic I’ve ever seen.

I guess we’ll have to call off the invasion.

My outdoor thermometers don't go that low.

No doubt. The mercury freezes 20 degrees above that point (más o menos)...

This is truly bitter news, I am honestly shivering at the thought of how terrible their lives have become.

Central Texas, turned my AC on a bit ago because indoor temp with no sources of heat burning except lights, computer and TV was 82 deg...

I count only five Fall-like days so far this season.

Yeah, it’s 80 degrees right now. But I think Mother Nature is joking and we’ll be hit with some serious cold in Feb.

“It’s -58 Fahrenheit if you’re used to using that scale. Yikes!”

Yes! My 1.8 x degrees C + 32 in my head formula works!

-27 at my house north of Wasilla. About a normal winter cold for us, last time I saw a really cold winter here I think it was 2004 when it was -47f which is about the same in centigrade.

Here in Virginia, it’s been in the 50s to around 60 all this fall....definitely warmer than normal, although it’s nice.

What’s bad is the dryness. We’ve had no real rain in months. It’s strange, because we always get good rainfall in the autumn.

-50? That’s cold even by MN standards.

Bah. The temp is Moscow is 0F. This -50C stuff is one off the scale Siberian outpost. Which is more or less normal winter weather.

Napolean had a bit of a problem with Russian weather too

But this cannot be! Both James Hansen at NASA GISS, and Michael “Zamboni” Mann at some scandal-ridden northeastern university *insist* that Russia is experiencing sweltering temperatures far higher than have ever been recorded.

"A couple of years ago, I had one of these global warming enthusiasts explain to me that global warming can cause an ice age."

When I encounter idiots claiming that "global warming" can cause ultra cold winter weather or cause an ice age I ask them how warm must the Earth get before it freezes?
