You’re welcome Kathy and I hope all is well of you.
I understand what you mean about ice. Temps range between 7 and 27 more or less -— day and nights temps. Ice can be so dangerous.

Good morning, Cindy....I just woke up from a "nap". LOL!!
Whatever was on the tv was broken into for a tsunami warning for southeast (the panhandle)....7.7 near Prince Rupert, British Columbia. My website says 7.2, 53 miles south of Port Alexander, AK

Breaking in right now......tsunami warnimg continues. If you are on the coast, move to higher ground. Area from Vancouver Island, north to south of Cordova. Get off the beach and out of harbors.
I'm over 600 miles north and a tsunami can't get inland to me.

Good morning Kathy. I heard about the earthquake and tsunami warning about a half an hour ago and was making my way down to speak with you. I just heard the warning has been canceled and I’m glad to see you are safe. Stay warm!

A nice place to warm up, to bad it was closed.

Pretty Poinsettia Christmas tree.
Riverside Gardens is better suited for summer.

The Riverside Gardens was mostly open indoors and the Christmas tree parade was spectacular, but I found myself out doors walking the winter gardens.

There is a bayou directly behind my house. It is where we walk the dog. There is an orange tree in a neighbor’s back yard. There were oranges hanging over the back of the fence. The tree was loaded with oranges. I asked myself, “Why do these people not pick their oranges?” I gathered as many as I could carry and rushed home to eat them. It was a big disappointment because the oranges that I had ‘stolen’ were sour. There is such a thing as ‘sour oranges’ and sour orange trees. I searched the internet and found that sour oranges are used to make marmalade. They are also used in cooking many Chinese foods.

Yes, Mrs. Spel spent hours on the telephone ‘fixing’ our insurance that we had been using for years without issues.
I say, “GRRRRR”, too! :-)
