Separately, evidence shows Lanza reloaded his weapon before the magazines were spent, leading to questions about whether he was influenced by the first-person shooter games he spent hours playing.

Or possibly, ignore the fact this was a terrorist attack masterminded by someone abroad using an American resident to perpetrate the attack; Just like 9/11. Destruction of Lanza’s hard drive was of paramount importance, perhaps to protect the identity of those he corresponded with. This has ‘Chechnyan’ massacre written all over it.
Browsing yesterday I saw an article that documents all the mass killers over the decade and what prescription drugs they were on. ...Ritalin was mentioned a lot.
I got it. Been there, done that too. If you are going out to take out the world, then kill yourself, why worry about you hearing?

Yeah, I get it, it is loud, but if you have been around it a lot, it’s not that hard to work through.

Where is the testimony on that? Who saw him there and when? What are the records? History?
We don’t actually know a whole bunch of stuff, including what went on and why. We hear opinion, meme, Administration/enemedia messages. Even from law enforcement, whose boss is Eric the Red.
Actually, the top cop for the Sandy Hook shooting stated several times during several news briefings the primary weapon was the Bushmaster 5.56 rifle, and that the only handgun used was used by Lanza to end his own life. The weapon left inside the trunk of the car was a shotgun.
Ultimately, I agree with you. I don’t like psychoanalyzing these people.
Too many people in the media are trying to sell us that evil doesn’t exist, and that this is just “mental illness”.
Ultimately, who gives a damn if he had some condition. What he did was evil, and the media needs to stop rationalizing to support their moral relativist ideology.
Not to mention that equating Evil with Mental Illness is rather insulting to people who suffer it.
This morning’s Hartford Courant ran this story....saying *they* found thousands of dollars of video games in the mother’s home.
Cops are still silent...everything now that comes out is attributed to *sources.*
If you trained with plugs it seems natural you might be inclined to wear them during the real thing.
Where did the article mention the use of any specific type of weapon?
Three staff members' cars, including one belonging to slain first-grade teacher Lauren Rousseau, were shot, leading investigators to wonder if Lanza opened fire on cops who responded to the shooting.
Did this occur before or after he entered the school?
Did he do this with the gun that was found in the trunk? That is did he use the recovered weapon then place it back in the trunk of the car, then carry on with his rampage?
If he was opened fire on cops, how is he was found dead inside?
Did he open fire on the cops then run back into the school?
If so that is a major part of this story that is just now being reported
If he was firing before on cars in the parking lot before he entered the school how is it that cops weren't notified about it at the time it was occurring rather than after he was in the school shooting?
This story is spinning out of control, way too many questions to be answered.
I read an article years ago that advanced the theory that hypersensitive hearing may be an underlying cause of Autism.

That’s OK. I am not appreciative of thin-skinned idiots who wrongly accuse other Freepers of “attempting to equate Autism with violent behavior” when all I did was point out the most likely reason he had earplugs, which had nothing -— pro or con -— to do with the violent episode.

Have we seen any proof that the weapon used was a Bushmaster?
How many single women buy Bushmasters for self defense?
Why did he do anything he did? How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
He was as crazy as a sh*thouse rat. Sane people who try to wrap their minds around the reasons of the insane are only frustrating themselves.
The gun in the trunk of the car was a shotgun, most likely a Saiga.
Put a couple of tracers in first before filling the magazine.
