Sadly, Churchill saved England from the Nazis, but today, they are losing England to the Muslims. There is no Churchill to save them.

No wonder Osama Obama returned Churchill's bust to the British Ambassador. These quotes must affect a Maoist like him like kryptonite affects Superman.

27) “If you have an important point to make, don’t try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time-a tremendous whack.”

Let's cut this one out and give it to the squishy, get-along RINOs...

One of my favorite quotes about Churchill rather then from him was from a great article about Churchill’s use of language by Isaiah Berlin:

” But, in the event, it did turn a large number of inhabitants of the British Isles out of their normal selves and, by dramatizing their lives and making them seem to themselves and to each other clad in the fabulous garments appropriate to a great historic moment, transformed cowards into brave men, and so fulfilled the purpose of shining armor.”

Thank you for the post of Churchill, he was a wonderful man who loved freedom and said so as well a great leader of Briton and a man of strength and character. He had iron in him as a man of his word, a great mind, an awesome strategist, an impeccable leader of Britain's people whom he loved. Men like him are few and far between. He seems to be Christian influenced.

10 “What kind of a people do they (Japan) think we are? Is it possible they do not realise that we shall never cease to persevere against them until they have been taught a lesson which they and the world will never forget?”

This one I haven’t heard before, and I sure wish someone would say it again with some authority. We don’t fight our enemies with even 10 per cent of this fortitude.

Thank you, Kaslin. I will repeat the number one quote to myself every day for the next 4 years. It will be a tough, unhappy time but I will try to keep the faith!

Not only was Churchill a great leader, he was one of the single most quotable men who has ever walked God's green earth.

Agreed.

(I have had only one tagline since 2004, btw.)

Worshipers of the incompetent war monger Churchill need to read Patrick Buchanan’s book “Churchill, Hitler and the Unnecessary War”. Churchill was a shill for the British aristocracy’s imperialism, you remember, the ideology we fought and won our revolution against. Time to get a little smarter, people. It has definite survival benefits.

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!

Sir Winston S. Churchill, KG, OM, CH, TD, PC, DL, FRS, Hon. RA (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965)

"Having received His Majesty's commission, I have formed an administration of men and women of every party and of almost every point of view. We have differed and quarreled in the past; but now one bond unites us all - to wage war until victory is won, and never to surrender ourselves to servitude and shame, whatever the cost and agony may be. This is one of the most awe-striking periods in the long history of France and Britain. It is also beyond doubt the most sublime. Side by side, unaided except by their kith and kin in the great Dominions and by the wide Empires which rest beneath their shield, the British and French peoples have advanced to rescue not only Europe, but mankind from the foulest and most soul-destroying tyranny which has ever darkened and stained the pages of history. Behind them - behind us - behind the armies and fleets of Britain and France - gather a group of shattered States and bludgeoned races: the Czechs, the Poles, the Norwegians, the Danes, the Dutch, the Belgians - upon all of whom the long night of barbarism will descend, unbroken even by a star of hope, unless we conquer, as conquer we must; as conquer we shall.

Today is Trinity Sunday. Centuries ago words were written to be a call and a spur to the faithful servants of Truth and Justice: 'Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar. As the Will of God is in Heaven, even so let it be.'"

Radio Broadcast – 13May1940

"With Mind And Hand"

Coronet Winston S. Churchill, 4th Queen's Own Hussars, 1895

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
