More than 60% of Americans were against obamacare. Yet obama got more than 50% of the vote. That shows how many people worship him. They vote for him even knowing they will be hurt by his actions.
Sorry pal, but a health insurance premium payment doesn’t provide lifetime coverage, it is only for a set period of time, and insurers ought to be within their rights to charge according to their expected costs within that set period of time. How long you live really isn’t the issue for them.
The list of invasive tyrannies goes on and on, not limited to what kind of light bulbs, how much water your toilet flushes, how much you can shovel in a low spot in your yard, etc.
If thats what their habit costs, thats how it should be pricedand they could always quit.

The funny thing is that a 330 lb diabetic mother of 6 welfare babies who performs oral sex for $20 gets Medicaid.
A 23 year old healthy guy who smokes cigarettes pays more money. Of course, it’s irrelevant. He won’t buy the insurance. He’ll pay the $450.
Gubmint leftists and statists are not stupid, Osamacare is designed to fail and usher in single payer.
So I take it we both think government should be out of regulating healthcare and health insurance as much as possible. Obviously we still have yokes and chains to throw off in that area, but this is simply one small lessening of the constraints—allowing, not dictating, health insurers to price their products differently for smokers and nonsmokers.
What you are arguing is for them not be be free to do so.
You surely have to see the PC non judgemental humor in this.
Osamacare let’s the insurance companies price only one thing....whether someone sticks a leaf of burning paper and leaves and inhales.
So a 23 year old guy who smokes but is healthy and plays sports and works out can be charged more.
The 43 year old, 300 lb crack addict welfare mother of 15 gets tax credits to pay for insurance.
Surely the issue then is allowing more price freedom, not less.
