Congressman Dr Paul Broun- We NEED him in the US Senate
2/9/2013 | Sherri Reese

Posted on 02/09/2013 12:05:41 PM PST by eeevil conservative

I just talked with Congressman Dr Paul Broun. He is running to replace Saxby as US Senator from GA.

I need anyone and everyone who is interested in helping or learning to please contact me via FREEPmail.

I have personally spent time with this man, praying, dining, etc..

He is a present US Congressman from GA, but not MY Congressman. I have never been able to vote for him, because I am not in his district, yet he is always there when I need him. ALWAYS!

In the comment section of this thread I will be providing information about him. I am willing to answer questions that I can, and dedicated to getting the answers that I do not already have.

If you like Herman Cain at all-- you will LOVE Dr Broun!

Thanks for posting this. I was waiting to hear who would take Saxby’s wasted seat. If he’s a strong conservative, as you say, he has my support.

According to the very Honorable Dr Carson, political correctness is passé. Thanks Sherri for ringing the bell for liberty and engaging in SOLUTIONS!

We love Paul Broun and look forward to him running for RINO Saxby’s seat. Tom Price and Karen Handel are also expected to run and franky all three are a 100% improvement over Saxby.

He has attacked CAIR - A BIG indication of real conservatism.

I think someone brought up Broun’s views on evolution. Here’s the Wikipedia entry on that.

- Criticism of evolutionary theory -

On September 27, 2012, in a speech at the Liberty Baptist Church Sportsman’s Banquet,[60] Broun stated that the sciences of embryology, evolution, and the Big Bang are “lies straight from the Pit of Hell ... lies to try to keep me and all the folks who are taught that from understanding that they need a savior.” This position is in support of his stance supporting Young Earth creationism. In the speech he also said that, “Earth is about 9,000 years old,” that “it was created in six days as we know them,” and that mainline Christian denominations are “going to send their people to hell”.[61][62][63][64]

Science educator Bill Nye questioned Broun’s ability to serve on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, stating, ‘”Since the economic future of the United States depends on our tradition of technological innovation, Representative Broun’s views are not in the national interest”’ and that ‘”He is, by any measure, unqualified to make decisions about science, space, and technology.”’[65]

In response to Broun’s statements, in the 2012 general election, over 5,000 voters in the 10th District voted for Charles Darwin as a write-in candidate.[66] [67]

No doubt he will be attacked for this by the media. He better be prepared.

Chambliss isn’t retiring - he’s running off with the booty he’s collected these last years. I’ve been telling him for years I’d do exactly as you said you would. He’s been hearing this from all over.

He’s qualified for his big Congress Pension and feathered his nest and will be on the board of a lot of Georgia Companies (LM, for one, probably)...he’ll do great financially. He’s a scumbag.

I am in his district but have never met him, he is great at ticking off the liberals.
He has been the only politician I can vote for without holding my nose.
Go Doc Broun!

I gander that the GOP establishment will be gung ho over Price.....

makes me wanna puke...but I figure that will only help Broun...

Let Rove and Price team up...that will only help Broun be the obvious grass roots, Tea Party choice...

Price is paid for....Broun cannot be bought..

I have already been receiving e-mail from him and had decided to back him as much as I can spare. He sounds like a real conservative. I pray I’m right.

I’m sure all the mainline Christian denominations like Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians and Catholics will be happy to vote for a man who thinks their theology is essentially so wrong that their version of the Savior is going to send them to hell.

I hope none of you people who just formed a fan club based on his 4 principles are part of those denominations he blithely condemns to hell.

The problem is that his first standard is: Is it moral or right? According to who? It’s usually pretty easy to use common sense to determine if something is moral.

But “Right” is a little bit different. What if his beliefs about science aren’t “Right”, but simply a matter of the faith that he embraces so absolutely. He’s right and everybody who doesn’t agree with him is going to Hell anyway so he’ll vote the dictates of his faith.

There is nothing more dangerous than an religious absolutist with the power to make laws.
