No sooner did President Barack Obama and a group of senators separately outline proposals to revamp the nation’s immigration system than the phone lines on several African-American-oriented talk radio shows heated up with callers blasting the plans.
“Amnesty,” complained Frankie from Maryland recently on the nationally syndicated “Keeping it Real with Al Sharpton.”
A political payback to Hispanic voters that does little or nothing for African-Americans, reasoned Sam from Milwaukee on Wisconsin’s 1290 WMCS AM’s “Earl Ingram Show.”

Still, Ingram says many of his listeners see Obama’s attempt to push forward on immigration as a reminder of what the president hasn’t done to improve economic conditions for African-Americans.
“I would say a bulk of my listenership is anti-immigration,” he said.

The African-American unemployment rate is at 13.8 percent, according to recently released government figures, nearly twice the 7 percent jobless rate for whites. The nation’s overall unemployment rate is 7.9 percent. For Hispanics, the rate is 9.7 percent.
A 2009 study by George Borjas of Harvard University, Jeffrey Grogger of the University of Chicago and George Hanson of the University of California, San Diego, looked at 1960-2000 Census data and found that as immigrants disproportionately increased the supply of workers in a particular area, wages of African-American workers in that area fell, the employment rate declined and the incarceration rate rose.
“Our analysis suggests that a 10 percent immigration-induced increase in the supply of a particular skill group reduced the black wage by 2.5 percent, lowered the employment rate of black men by 5.9 percentage points, and increased the incarceration rate of blacks by 1.3 percentage points,” the professors wrote in the study.

If anyone thinks immigration is a tipping point issue that will take blacks off the Democratic plantation, think again. Both radical Islamists and NOW feminists seem to have no difficulty cohabiting in the left's big, happy family, so I don't expect there to be any big split between Chicanos and blacks either.

Like one black guy told me, black women are nothing but temper and bad attitudes and overweight
I dont believe most black men want white women and if one does i dont think it is because he couldnt find a decent black woman White women are good women but so are a lot of black women.That is all im saying. I shouldnt say there. are a lot of bad white women.
from my travels I;ve found most black men prefer white women and even had black men tell me that black women are never what they want in some cases
I guess it depends where you are. I go to a mega chiurch in richmond mosttly black and even though there are a lot lesswhites in the church at times i would say there have been more white men with black women than the other way around. But. I agree percentage wise a lot more black men go for interracial dating than white men. Historically imo white.men have had sex with black women but only wanted to marry white women.
I have been to Richmond VA a few times and have friends there and they live in a mixed race area, though more blacks are moving in to his area and he said the same after I read your post and called him.
Black women do not have the attraction as white women to black men.
H eknows plenty of black men who would rather have a white women and not one white guy either who wants a black woman.

The numbers dont support your theory based on. A few black guys you have spoken to. Most black men obviously want black women.Having sex with a white woman or black women for whote guys is not the same as prefering them. We just disagree. But there is nothing in society to suggest most. Black guys want white women imo.
nothing to suggest, when I say the black guys I have spoken too I;m talking in Chicago, Philly, Richmond VA, , FL NC, hell even England, Africa etc.
The majority of black men I;ve spoken too and it;s not a few want white women and have said veyr negative things about black women, bad attitude, let themselves go, crap mothers, lazy.
sorry to add but I;ve just spoken to my kids in school who are all different ages and they all laughed when I said what you said and all said that the black boys are always chasing white girls and even the black girls at school are fed up of it and actually there has been fights by black girls on white girls at the schools because of this and their jealousy
It has been talked about. For years how black women are the ones that cant find good black men prision ect. The ones. doing different things often stand out and get noticed. We disagree that is ok
Take a look at any standard application for hand-outs (food stamps, heating assistance, etc.).
They have a chart that shows increasing benefits based on household size. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out how to get more benefits.
