Democrats and the media have accuses Tea Party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of "McCarthyism" merely for posing tough questions to and about Chuck Hagel during the latter's confirmation as Secretary of Defense. Yet a recent column by former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich reveals who the real McCarthyites are in U.S. politics today, as Reich likens the Tea Party to a conspiracy "to undermine the government of the United States."
Reich, who has steadfastly supported President Barack Obama's big-government, tax-and-spend agenda, wrote that the Tea Party had "infiltrated" the government at every level, and had used the budget cuts in the sequester to begin "dismantling pieces of it." He outlined the rest of his conspiracy theory at the left-wing Salon.com:
Imagine a plot to undermine the government of the United States, to destroy much of its capacity to do the publics business, and to sow distrust among the population.
Imagine further that the plotters infiltrate Congress and state governments, reshape their districts to give them disproportionate influence in Washington, and use the media to spread big lies about the government.

Unfortunately the little midget has failed to understand we are not a Marxist nation as he wants.
Conservatives 'use' the media?
Use the media??? Yeah right.
That's as likely as pre-World War II Jews 'using' Hitler's SS men to further their goals... Reich has gone off the deep end this time...
I had a liberal tell me the other day with a straight face that Obama can’t do all that he needs to because the media is against him and even the Democrats in Congress are against him...
I would argue that the beginning of the end came when the Confederacy lost the War for Southern Independence. That’s when the overreaching federal government started. It set up the “Progressive” policies of Teddy Roosevelt, and continued with the racist Woodrow Wilson. FDR accelerated it similarly to the way Obama is accelerating it now.
ROTFLOL. This guy is a sad joke.
Lincoln was a thug
Walter Williams has numerous columns exposing this dictator and full blown white supremacist.
That IS where it started.
Time for a Lockian reset button (?)
It’s undermining when you make the government follow the very document that gives them the authority to be there in the first place? Time for the rubber room for little Bobbie.
Only the 90% of it that is un-Constitutional....
When Democrat Robert Torricelli was losing so badly in New Jersey that he dropped out rather than face a humiliating defeat by a Republican unknown, Democrats argued that he should be illegally replaced on the ballot "in the name of giving voters a competitive election."
But, when Republicans simply run candidates against Democrats, they are labeled "a conspiracy to undermine the government of the United States?"
That kind of thinking is only possible when one believes that Democrat rule is the natural order of things, and anything else is a coup.
In other words, Democrats like Reich want tyranny.

I’m trying to understand here...conspiracy to undermine the government...is he accusing the tea party of treason? Could what he said be a veiled threat, or just the rantings of a mental midget?
Stand up Bob, let 'em see ya'.
Oh, God love ya'!
What am I talking' about?
You are standing up!

It started many years before the Civil War, when the over-reaching executive branch of the federal government ignored the rule of law and kicked the Chickasaw, Delaware,Cherokee and Choctaw and and assortment of the halfbreeds off their land to make way for a more useful and often less literate political constituency.
[Of course state governments were involved in that, too.]
Truth isn't in them!
Here’s a link to a story about ONE reporter who asked a tough question of the Obama big fat ego trippers - she wasn’t exactly ‘against’ him but she was doing the job the rest of the butt kissers weren’t...
Obama’s people called her names - including but not limited to ‘c*unt’. Charming Chicago thugs - roughing up one of the few honest members of the press.

Read this - it’s from the end of the article:
I had a young reporter asking tough, important questions of an Obama Cabinet secretary, says one DC veteran. She was doing her job, and they were trying to bully her. In an e-mail, they called her the vilest names bitch, c—t, a—hole.
