Georgetown Law School. (AP Photo/Haraz Ghanbari) (CNSNews.com) - The Obama Justice Department is arguing in the United States Supreme Court that children do not need mothers.
The Justice Department’s argument on the superfluity of motherhood is presented in a brief the Obama administration filed in the case of Hollingsworth v. Perry, which challenges the constitutionality of Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that amended California’s Constitution to say that marriage involves only one man and one woman.
The Justice Department presented its conclusions about parenthood in rebutting an argument made by proponents of Proposition 8 that the traditional two-parent family, led by both a mother and a father, was the ideal place, determined even by nature itself, to raise a child.
The Obama administration argues this is not true. It argues that children need neither a father nor a mother and that having two fathers or two mothers is just as good as having one of each.
“The [California] Voter Guide arguably offered a distinct but related child-rearing justification for Proposition 8: 'the best situation for a child is to be raised by a married mother and father,’” said the administration’s brief submitted to the court by Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr.
“As an initial matter, no sound basis exists for concluding that same-sex couples who have committed to marriage are anything other than fully capable of responsible parenting and child-rearing,” the Department of Justice told the court. “To the contrary, many leading medical, psychological, and social-welfare organizations have issued policy statements opposing restrictions on gay and lesbian parenting based on their conclusion, supported by numerous scientific studies, that...

1) Abortion: Millions of conservatives and Christians can show up for a chicken sandwich or Washington Mall but can’t figure out a way to legally and peacefully end abortion? Really?
2) Every day our nation’s GODLESS K-12 socialist-entitlement and single payer indoctrination camps are filled to the brim with the children of Christians and conservatives. While in these Marxist and homosexual dominated GODLESS schools they will learn to think and reason GODLESSLY. They must just to cooperate in the GODLESS classroom. They also risk learning to throw their privately held religious beliefs in the trash can next to the door of their public life.
How this nation abuses children is reason enough for God to abandon us.
Personally, every day I pray that God will give this nation what it **NEEDS** whether it be comfortable or uncomfortable.

The studies generally show that generally, rich, white lesbians are just as good (or just as poor/problematic) as heterosexual single mothers..a group whose children are much more likely to be imprisoned, mentally ill, be unable to delay gratification, and have lower IQs than the children where there is both a male and a female raising them.
Because most on our side are no better than the godless on their side.
One day we all will have to explain why we followed the deceived ones instead of Jesus.
And I too agree. IMHO the list of reasons could go on and on for quite some time for why God is/has turning His back on America. Americans far and wide keep finding all kinds of new ways to reject God and His word and teachings.

No one comes into this world without the labor of a mother.
the left wing around the world all work with each other pushing their twisted sick failed and proven failed agenda expecting a different results every time.
The Carter years, communism, failed socialism in Europe etc etc, the list is too long for their faled yeas but now we have another one of their radicals who have infiltrated and all they do is blame their failed agenda on others instead of finally saying we’re wrong.

I just finished reading “BRAVE NEW WORLD” where “Mother” is considered a filthy dirty word.
This is what happens when people who don’t view matters through an American prism get elected. I never thought in my earlier years, we’d ever get to this juncture of a “president” arguing against the sanctity of family.
Good God, this country is dying at an astonishing rate.
