I’m surprised they didn’t get Jane Fonda to hand out the clues.

Parts of last Sunday's episode, filmed in Vietnam, were insensitive to a group that is very important to us -- our nation's veterans," ...and any viewers who were offended by the broadcast.
a RAT apology. The apology is only to those who were offended ? Either something is right or it's wrong.

Who is CBS?
Oh I know what the show did.
I've read stories and heard all about it on radio and FOX.
I have never watched the show, and never will.
I didn't watch it before their ugly attempt to generate controversy, and won't watch it in future.
And no, I don't accept their “apology”.
It wasn't an accident, or even an inadvertent insult, genuinely regretted.
It was a calculated and scripted intentional insult, that failed to generate the positive responce they actively sought.
They will intentionally do it again. I very much doubt they also privately asked forgiveness from God.God might forgive them, if they had asked it of Him.

We want to apologize to veterans -- particularly those who served in Vietnam -- as well as to their families and any viewers who were offended by the broadcast. This Vietnam war vet (not a Vietnam vet, mind you. There's a difference, I was never boots in country) Does NOT accept this weak and insincere apology.
All of us here have the most profound respect for the men and women who fight for our country/

“CBS”:’’ Constant BullSh!t’’ If veterans were so important to CBS they wouldn’t have run the damn video in the first place.

I thought they should have apologized to all the Vietnamese Americans who fled that communist rat hole for the song glorifying the Communist party.
Few people seem to remember the Vietnamese Boat people who fled on leaky rafts and boats after the fall of Saigon. Over 2,000,000 people, of whom some 200,000 to 400,000 died per the UN. Plus all the people who fled to refugee camps in Thailand (another million) of whom another 100,000 to 200,000 died.
Why did they flee? Because the Vietnamese governent sent some 1.5 million people to "reeducation" camps where they were forced to listen to beautiful Socialist songs like they sang in this episode. Of those some 150,000 were executed. This doesn't count the numerous purges done in the country right after the before and after the fall of Saigon. Estimates of those rise to over a million over the whole country. So while I am happy they apologized to Vietnam Vets, they really should have apologized to the Vietnamese Americans.
Uncle Ho was just as brutal as Uncle Joe in making sure he had a compliant people. If you don't believe me read about the Hue massacre.

The apology was interesting, but last night’s highlight was the gay kid who freaked out at having to touch a scorpion. The way he freaked out, you’d have thought someone put a Playboy in front of him.

Thank Congress. They gave-up in Vietnam. Not the American military.
