These DJs are in hot water after telling their listeners on April 1st that 'dihydrogen monoxide' was coming out of their taps. Dihydrogen monoxide is water, but listeners who didn't know that grew very concerned

What a difference 50 years makes. Orson Well’s Martian landing encited mass panic and he went on to be a hollywood legend and these guys tell there listeners that water is coming out of their tap and they get canned. Unbelievable!

Yeah, that’s my take -
the DJs are in trouble because their listeners are too stupid.
Thus proving that there isn’t any limit to stupidity. (as if the election of 0bama didn’t already prove that.)
For years the team of Harden and Weaver (WMAL AM WashDC) used to push a ‘pop corn stuffing’ recipe around Thanksgiving and Christmas...
The main ingredient was cups of RAW pop corn and you figured the bird was done once its arse blew the oven door open.
They had great presentation and the skit never lost its humor and there was always someone wanting to ‘sue’ because it sounded so good people would ‘try’ it.
So ‘DUMMIES’ aren’t restricted to the present era.
Or when Soupy Sales told the kids in his audience to go get out those green pieces of paper in Mommy’s purse & Daddy’s wallet (both passed out on New Year’s morning), remit same to: The Soupy Sales Show, WNBC, New York, “and in return I will send you a postcard from Puerto Rico”.

What a bunch of crap! The poor wittle officials can’t take an honest joke. The DJ’s were not lying and that is all that counts in this case. Everyone should have taken it as an educational experience and move on. What a pansy society we live in today. The people deserve to have the slave masters they are about to get.
