One of these days, these “mistakes” will have consequences.

Too bad for the unlucky Jack Booted Thugs.

Remember the bumper sticker from 42 years ago?

KEVIN BALLEW COULD BE YOU!

It was a reference to a man shot by cops who raided his house and was shot down.
The cops claimed he had fired on them, but the only shot from his .44 black powder revolver was in the wall 90 degrees away from the shooting cops, and 8 inches from the floor where the man fell.

I highly doubt this was a “mistake.” More likely it’s a “tell your friends about us” psyops action.

Why in the world do they do these "no-knock" raids? Practice for martial law? Why can't the LEO's wait for the guy to walk out of house and nab him there, then go in and search for drugs/whatever?

I can see if the perp is a known violent criminal with a record, but someone that they can't prove to a judge is dangerous? Do judges even bother asking before they issue warrants, or do they just rubber-stamp whatever LEO hands them?

What was the US Marshall’s jurisdiction in this case?

I would be very upset.

Wait: Soon they will be coming for your guns.

If you do happen to see them coming. Remember they wear body armor.

It took them hours to realize that their target was black but the guy they arrested was white?

Wow. Just... wow.

Too bad none of the special ed agents who pulled this off will lose their job.

For decades the loudest yelps for law ‘n’ order came from the right, fretting about their property and never pausing to think police powers might one day oppress them. Call it karma.

This is always so unfair. Whenever they get it wrong and don’t find guns and drugs, the least they can do is to leave him some guns and drugs as an apology.

Fixed it...

It’s a good thing he didn’t have a waffle shaped like a gun or he and his family would be chilling in the local morgue.

The Marshals excuse or qualify their actions by saying “It’s not uncommon for us to arrest fugitives in places other than that provided by the court”.

WTF???!!!!!

Are you insane?!

You are souless and without conscience.

You frequently bust into the wrong home and arrest absolutely innocent people, who aren’t doing anything other than living their previously happy life. You then destroy their personal property, shoot their dogs and assault them.

To top it off you cite them on trumped up bogus charges to increase the ante to obtain sympathy of the courts for your synthetic accusation that you could have been the victim.

Your answer to this incident and others like it is a manufactured tool of absolution for righteousness. It’s as if you walk on water and can swim.

There are no limits to your powers over “the citizen” as you deify yourself and your brothers.

You had the wrong place and a white guy. This while the warrant called for a specific place, that was described and a man who, similarly, was described.

Wrong neighborhood and the dude was the wrong color. You couldn’t check his ID! drivers license, querried the kids, passport or any number of other things afterward?

You guys suit up in your paramilitary gear then go all roidhead over your, supposedly, fellow Americans to get your rocks off and thrill in your costume party.

You kan’t muster a freakin apology? You guys are idiots and that likely would be all it would take for many us to somewhat accept your actions but, your inability to express any regret whatsoever is demonstrative of your superiority complex and I wouldn’t all be surprised to learn you are plagued by a caertain shortness, on the order of Ken Doll.

Why don’t you start being honest with yourselves and just display “your” flag.

CCCP

“Ave Good Day”

Right. Other than those two little details, the raid was flawless.

"They said it’s not uncommon for them to arrest fugitives somewhere other than the address provided by the court."

According to criminals, everyone's a criminal. According to criminal police, the chances that criminals are at a wrong address or in a wrong vehicle are very high. It's the us-against-them attitude that police leaders of the past warned about.

And friends, corrupt police are more likely to be in a podunk town than a big city. If you find criminal police, call the Public Integrity Section of the Justice Dept.
