“how long do you think it will be until we have an economic crash in this country similar to the one we’re seeing in Greece or Cyprus?”

The “economic crash” is due to the fact that Greece and Cyprus have given over their sovereignty to the EU. They no longer control their currency. Therefore, they can’t indulge in “quantitative easing” or printing money to pay their debts. They have to get an outside authority to print money for them. That entity is using its economic power to rape and pillage. Unlike the barbarians who overran Rome or the crusade which captured and sacked Cyprus, this raping and pillaging is antiseptic and done remotely.

The US can and is printing its way out of debt. Yes, it will lead to a crisis, but probably not a collapse. Other factors must combine to make it a collapse. For example, foreigners refusing to finance our debt or demanding payment in their own currency.

12) If we change God's definition of marriage to make gay marriage legal, then what's the logical argument against polygamy or even adult siblings supposed to be?

Oh, man! Just try to use this one one the "equal sign" zealots that are your Facebook friends. Get ready for a freak-out.

7) If corporations are so awful, greedy and bad for the country, then shouldn't we be celebrating when they decide to close their plants here and move overseas?

20) If firms can get by with paying women 72 cents on the dollar for the same quality of work as men, then why don't we see any firms with all female labor forces using those lower costs to dominate the marketplace?

Those are keepers.

I think the point is that the “debt” in at least Greece’s case, as far as I know, is from unfunded public-sector pensions and entitlements. The U.S. has more control in pushing off the repercussions of this, as you point out, but we are still going the same way, and there will be consequences.

The author is correct. The Liberal cannot answer these questions because they have been indoctrinated as he describes to not allow the logical connections in the questions. Try asking these to a Liberal. You will always get an illuminating display of a mind entering the state of Hysteria.

How can you simultaneously want a big government that will make decisions that have an enormous impact on the lives of every American while also saying that the character and morals of our politicians don't matter?

The left can only resort to personal attacks since it can not defend its positions.

I remember after Halliburton was villified by the Dems for years and then moved to Dubai, the Dems were outraged that they were tryng to avoid taxes and called congressional hearings.

Got into a disagreement with one of the so called “libs” the other day.I’m surrounded by them. The “bay area” is a chamber pot of libs.
She was saying people shouldn’t be able to have more money than they need.
I said who’s to say what ones needs are and why should you care how much money some one has in their bank account if it was obtained legally?
Her reply, was you don’t need all that much to live on.For example, she said my dad has a yearly income of over $200,000 a year.He doesn’t need that much money.
I think what it comes down to,dad isn’t giving her any.
She is proud to say she is a liberal ,has voted all this crap in for the rest of us to suffer in Calif.
Now Ms lib and hubby say they want to move to Baja ,Mexico
of course, where they can live the”simple life”.
Yes,they will take all their well earned money with them.

14) If you win a lawsuit that's filed against you, why should you have to pay huge legal bills when you did nothing wrong while the person who filed the suit pays no penalty for wrongly accusing you?

A few points.

Prevailing in a lawsuit does not necessarily mean "you did nothing wrong." In a civil suit even more than a criminal case, "winning" doesn't mean you are in the right. It just means you won the case.

The losing party will equally have to pay his own huge legal bills.

If the loser has to pay the winner's legal bills, as in many countries, does this not produce a drastic incentive not to file even justified lawsuits? Hmmm, would that be such a bad thing, come to think of it.

Not a fan of our present legal system, but this claim is more than a little misleading.

Rape, possibly. Pillage, not so much. Unless you believe pillage consists of spending the pillagers' money to bail out the pillagees.

The truly ludicrous part of the EU mess is that ALL parties are made worse off by the desperate efforts to prop up the euro.
