Amazing New Details from the Chase for the Boston Bombers Daniel Halper April 20, 2013 11:56 AM

The police chief of the Watertown police department shares amazing new details of the chase for the Boston bombings suspects from Thursday night into Friday evening:

The police chief, Edward Deveau, describes how cops nearly apprehended the older suspect, and were placing handcuffs on him in the middle of the street Thursday night, when the younger suspect came at officers in a carjacked SUV. The cops were able "to dive out of the way," and the younger suspect then continued to drive directly over his brother and dragging him through the street. That's how the older suspect died, according to the police chief.

The younger suspect eventually dumped the SUV and ran into the darkness of the night, according to the police chief. It took nearly 18 hours and massive manhunt to find the younger suspect. He gave himself up after a 20-minute negotiation with the FBI, he said, but not before the suspect fired more rounds at the authorities.

The bombers were armed with "pipe bombs and explosives," some of which appear to have been homemade hand-grenades. They had "at least 6 bombs, if you will," says the chief. They also had a some guns.

The chief also says that "there was a major explosion in the middle of the gun fight" between officers and the suspects, Thursday night, when a pressure cooker bomb, like the ones used in the Boston Marathon bombings, went off in the residential area.

The interview with the police chief took place today on CNN.

Several other reports have said that he drove the car over his brother. But they assumed he had already been shot dead. Whether or not that’s what killed him remains to be seen. And I’m not sure I’ll trust an autopsy report, if and when it is released.

Pretty sick.

I agree with you - their plan all along. Reports made it appear it was the cops and nothing about what the brother did until this. Thus, even a statement from their father, ‘the police killed his son’. Notice the younger brother didn’t have the guts to do it to himself.

The leaked corpse photos showed...

I don’t trust those photos. I saw them, but until I see more authentication, they are no better than the FAKE pictures of Osama which circulated after HIS demise...

We saw how a major metro area will obey the authorities if they are made to feel scared.

So they should have disobeyed?

Good question on where do they get their money. In an interview on CNN with the auto repair guy who knew the 19 year old suspect, it was mentioned he was wearing $900 tennis shoes.

Now why would a nice young man drive a car over his brother?

So many perplexing questions.

Debka is garbage. An absolutely worthless disinformation site. In all the years I’ve been on FR, not only has nothing Debka claimed ever panned out, they’ve been laughingly wrong once the dust settled.

The citizens saw a lot of probably nervous, full of adrenaline people more heavily armed than our troops in Afghanistan. I can understand the citizens staying in their homes.

“Where do these people get their money”

Look no further than the Saudi national, Abdul al-Harbi, who was first questioned in the Boston bombing, is going to be deported on “national security grounds.” He is from a very powerful Saudi family with many terrorist ties. Abdul al-Harbi is a devout Muslim from Medina. Glen Beck says all of this will be outed Monday.

The money most likely comes from the Saudi’s ties to terrorist financiers. From his photos, he was apparently a member of the royal family. Also, the royal family is quick to pull their family members out of hostile situations like they seem to be doing in this case.

Authorities say he died of cardiac arrest at the hospital, not in the street.

Are saying that the brother didn't run him over and that he didn't die from those wounds?

That’s what I heard too. Surgeon said he had more bullets in him than he could count. Guess he shot himself after he was run over.

Now why would a nice young man drive a car over his brother?

"Fellow students described Tsarnaev as both a “pothead” and a soccer fanatic."

"Students said Tsarnaev had a reputation as being a terrible driver and some were afraid to ride around campus with him.."

There's your answer..

Careful! The ACLU is already demanding he be Mirandized, given a lawyer, and moved to a “nice” jail.
