I find it hard to believe that Russia would actually try to HELP us and we basically ignored it. Everyone and their mother knows that the “unnamed foreign source” is Russia.

There is no reason why Russia and the US cannot be allies, each with its own ‘sphere of influence’.....The US and Tsarist Russia enjoyed cordial ties. Russia is more Imperial, but they are no longer Communist...I would rather have Russia in control of Central Asia, than for it to be independent and run by Islamo-Fascists. Since they’ve re-established control in Chechnya, the area has flourished, and their puppet, who used to be a rebel, is now well-heeled. That works best in that part of the world.
I sure wish that the MSM had given Bush the benefit of the doubt in the weeks and months following 9/11, especially after reports of the August PDB were revealed. I never heard them defend the Bush administration the way they’re bending over backwards to absolve Zero of any blame.
