Gosnell Acquitted on 3 Counts of Murder, 5 Counts of Corpse Abuse in Grisly Murder Trial

t’s shaping up to be a dramatic day in the courtroom for those keeping a watchful eye on the Dr. Kermit Gosnell case. According to columnist J.D. Mullane, a writer for the Bucks County Courier Times, the abortion doctor was acquitted this morning on three counts of murder.

In a series of tweets from inside the courtroom, Mullane described the dismissals, noting that Gosnell still has five murder charges remaining against him (in sequence from oldest to newest):

#Gosnell defense atty Jack McMahon asks Judge Jeffrey Minehart for abort doc's acquittal. Judge listens, takes recess.

#Gosnell Judge Minehart acquits abort doc on 3 counts murder, 1 infanticide, 5 abuse of corpse; but 5 murder charges remain.

Sounds like it was the Judge’s decision - not the Jury, so I am confused. Did he waive the right to trial by Jury in favor of letting the Judge decide?

The trial is far from over. Joseph Mengele-Gosnell will be found guilty of murder. If not, there is absolutely no justice in this country. The murdering SOB.

I agree with you. Just hope the person(s) deciding the case do too.

All activist judges, at each and every judicial level, have got to be replaced by judges who WILL follow the U.S. Constitution as well as each and every state constitution, depending upon which state they are representing! This should of been done already!

Don’t tell the “stupids” journalists that dismissing a charge for lack of evidence is not the same thing as a jury acquittal.

OJ trial all over again.

We can’t convict a member of a protected group of a grisly crime.

I have a dear friend who served faithfully for 11 years in Haiti as a nurse and village hygiene director. She labored faithfully through 9 coups, the Clinton embargo, and a few hurricanes. She never got a word of thanks, an offer of help, or any accolades. For some reason, she was resolute in her white-guilt to the point of it nearly destroying her.

The OJ Trial opened her liberal eyes and altered her philosophy forever.

Since then, she has married, has a beautiful daughter, and would fit right in here on FR! :-)

Can’t prove the babies were born alive? Why else would he cut their throats?

He wasn’t acquitted of anything. Some of the charges, including three of the murder charges, were dismissed because of a lack of clear evidence. He’s still on the hook for 5 counts of murder and that’s more than enough to send him to death row if convicted.

Murders take place 24/7/365 at ALL abortion clinics, and without much outrage

I hear Republicans, supposedly “pro life” saying there are more important issues, need to focus on economy they say

speaking of most recent elections

But now they are feigning outrage/???

We'll find out. This **** could go on for centuries.

Glad I'm not raising any kids in this WORTHLESS country.

He dropped the charges. There’s still enough to stick a needle in Gosnell.

Don't hold your breath. What Gosnell did doesn't phase them. The rulers of this country are already plotting to shoot your entire family into a ditch.

If this country lets him off the hook then this country deserves total annihilation. There would be absolutely nothing for any of us to look forward to but death. Children will grow up in a place of insanity and nightmares.
